2. Write the number of the starting card in the top left square.
3. Look at the picture, say what it is and think about what letters/word matches.
4. Walk around the room searching for the letter/word match of the picture located in the oval in the top right of another card.
5. When found, write the answer on the line in the first box.
6. Following the arrow on their paper to box 2, write the number of this card in the box on the top left.
7. Repeat until all boxes are full. Students should return to starting card when completed.

For these games I have used the words from Fry first 100 words. This is a bundle of my Fry First Hundred I have Who has games and includes lists 1-4 for a total of 100 words. These can also be purchased individually from my store.

These are great group activities to help students master sight words. Just cut the cards out and laminate for durability and they will be ready to use.

This resource was created in order to help Speech Language Pathologists target initial phonemes at the word level. This resource includes a total of 40 pictured initial /h/ CV and CVC words to use the h-insertion trick during speech therapy sessions.

The h-insertion trick can be an extremely helpful strategy to use when children are stuck at the isolation level of a sound. By producing /h/ after the initial sound, the child continues their air flow, making it easier to produce the following vowel. This helps them to eliminate the prior habit of producing the incorrect sound.
