Blow out the candles on the birthday cake (3 to 7 years old)
By Ms Garcia Store
Celebrate the age-old tradition of blowing out birthday candles, even in distant learning times, with this delightful interactive resource!
The student will experience the joy of attempting to blow out all the candles at once, but as you advance the slide, they'll notice that only the ones on the right (or left) have been extinguished. They'll need to try again, blowing towards the other side. Finally, they'll have one last try to blow out the candles in the center. On the last slide, they'll be pleasantly surprised with a heartwarming "Happy Birthday" message personalized with the student's name.
The best part is that you have ample room for personalization and creativity! You can add vibrant balloons or any other ornaments, incorporate a cheerful Bitmoji, and even include a lively birthday song on the last slide.
Your feedback and ratings are highly valued as they allow me to improve and cater to your specific preferences. Your satisfaction is my priority, and I'm here to make your distant birthday celebrations unforgettable and full of joy!
Join the celebration and create lasting memories with this fun and interactive resource. Blow out the virtual candles together, and let the birthday magic begin!

For many children, the first thought that comes to mind when winter approaches is “snow day!” The winter can be a time of hibernation as it is cold outside, many extracurricular activities have slowed down, and the days get darker much earlier. When children are cooped up inside, they can become restless and bored quite easily. However, the winter yoga sequence is a great way to promote physical activity and encourage movement during a restless time.
The Winter Sequence is a 13 page PDF download which you can view on your phone, tablet, computer or print out onto paper. We recommend cutting out each card and taping/gluing on a 4x6 index card or card stock. For added durability, laminate each card.

Spooky Halloween - Yoga Games & Activities
By Lara Hocheiser
Happy Halloween! Children look forward to Halloween to explore the world of all that is scary in a safe way. The Spooky Walk is a call-and-response style seated marching yoga game to get kids in the Halloween spirit. It has been one of the most popular activities of all my years of teaching. I hope you love it!
When we do this song and game, we get to explore the emotion of being afraid in a safe space. You can take the time to explain that it’s all pretend and give kids practice with the vocabulary related Halloween and being afraid. Words such as scary, ghost, escape, safety, and pretend are all good words to practice prior to this activity. If you have very young or extra sensitive kids, please take the time to make sure they feel safe and know this is just pretend prior to starting.
Spooky Halloween also contains Halloween-themed activities including activities, games and crafts to get into the Halloween spirit! Learn nine yoga poses and spooky breathing exercises. To get those creative juices flowing, we’ve included five coloring pages.
Spooky Halloween is a 15-page PDF download that you can view on your phone, tablet, computer or print out onto paper.

Teach kids about gratitude through yoga and mindfulness
Teaching kids about gratitude is a mindset that will benefit them for years to come. Research tells us that gratitude has many benefits, including greater life satisfaction and better attitudes about school.
Gratitude provides perspective for kids–they can learn to see through the eyes of others, and through that, they can learn to form healthy relationships with themselves and others.
For children, gratitude can be experienced through direct experience, through dramatization, and through adult modeling. We’ve included games, meditations, activities, crafts, and yoga poses to help get in touch with a sense of gratitude.
We hope you enjoy it!
Printable Gratitude Yoga Cards

"The Napping House" Literacy Integration Lesson Plan
By Lara Hocheiser
Move and breathe through a childhood classic. The Napping House by Don and Audrey Wood has been a favorite story in my classes for years, and with a librarian’s suggestion, I brought it to life through yoga for the first time in 2012. Now accompanied by our beautiful illustrations, we can use this yoga sequence to promote a lifelong love of learning, reading, and healthy habits.
Each of the characters in the story is paired with a yoga pose, and each page adds another character in order. As the sequence builds, the poses come together in a beautiful flow. Do the poses as you read, or read and then do the poses—whatever feels the best to you.
This lesson plan is a perfect resource for teachers, parents or clinicians who want bring the story to life with movement. We’ve included a story script and a list of poses so children can learn the yoga sequence.
The Napping House Literacy Integration is a 14-page PDF download that you can view on your phone, tablet, computer or print to paper.
This download contains the following:
The Napping House Lesson Plan designed for kids ages 4-10
List of yoga poses, props and key themes that relate to the story

My handwriting book includes:
When a student can produce the letters correctly and quickly, they will use less brain power when writing words and sentences!
By K3 Homeschool Foundations
It is important for a child to understand what a syllable IS and how to break words apart into syllables! When children begin to read and write multisyllabic words it will be vital they understand how to break the word into their syllables! This is a great hands-on and engaging way to work on syllables! Pick a manipulative that your child wants to use and get to work! Use them in centers or during small group!
Color By Code Letters/Upper and Lowercase Letters

Why not work on letters while coloring? My students love a color-by-code!
Ways to use this resource:
By K3 Homeschool Foundations
Let's be honest, phonemic awareness can be SO boring for our students! Whenever we are working on it they want to use the words in sentences or want to see a picture of what that word means! Now they have a picture to connect to the word!
These cards are so much fun my students beg me to work with them! I let them choose their manipulative; whether it is play-dough to tap, legos, chips, or blocks! This also gives those kiddos struggling with blending and segmenting a concrete method to gain those skills!
The cards are broken into each vowel sound so that you can easily practice phonemic awareness with the vowel you are working on. You can also mix them up so they can practice the skill for each vowel!
-Includes
-a,e,i,o,u
-CVC words with a picture
-Sound boxes on the front
-The word and amount of sounds on the back for self-correction!
