Book 3: Fun in the Fall

A variety of activities are represented in this book. Students will continue developing high-frequency words with the repetitive text "In the fall, I like to." Activities include hiking, school, bake sale, football, picking apples, picking pumpkins, carving pumpkins & a bond fire with smores. 

Book 4: Fall Clothing

These alphabet clip cards are the perfect way for preschoolers and kindergartners to practice letter recognition and matching capital and lowercase letters. Students can also practice building fine motor skills by using clips to mark each letter.

What is Included:

There are 4 clip cards for each letter of the alphabet. Activities include matching the capital letter to a matching capital letter, matching a lowercase letter to the matching lowercase letter and matching capital letters with the correct lowercase letters.

How to Use:

Students will take one clip card, look at the letter on the card and then clip the letter that matches. These themed number games are a great addition to any themed center for students who are practicing number recognition up to 100. This game is for small group instruction or can be used as a whole class game.

Designed for the pocket chart, Where's the Object? is a game for centers or whole group instruction where an object is hidden behind another object. A poem is chanted where the student(s) must say the number they think the hidden object is behind. Once guessed, the number is removed. If the hidden object is there, then it must be hidden again to play further. If is is not there, then the poem is chanted again and a new letter is guessed. This game has numbers 1 through 100.

These alphabet recognition games are designed for the pocket chart but can be used on a table top. There are 4 different Where's the _____? games with this bundle. The games can be used for letter recognition or for letter sound recognition.

1. Where's the Acorn: Students must find the acorn hidden behind a fall leaf.

2. Where's the Penguin: Students must find the penguin hidden behind the igloo.

3. Where's the Ladybug: Students must find the ladybug hidden behind the flower.

4. Where's the Sun: Students must find the sun hidden behind a cloud.

To play, a poem is chanted where the student(s) must say the letter they think the object is behind. Once guessed, the letter is removed. If the object is behind the letter, then the onject must be hidden again to play further. If the object is not behind the letter, then the poem is chanted again and a new letter is guessed. This game has letters in both capital and lowercase forms.

These cards can also be used as a matching game, where the capital and lowercase cards can be matched.

This product contains all of the fall and autumn themed counting mats for numbers 1-20. Each mat contains ten frames for students to use manipulatives to count to each number.
