Students will listen to a story with repetitive text ("I see a") and identify the item. The items are focused on fall & 8 different colors. An excellent book for practicing color recognition. 

Book 3: Fun in the Fall

A variety of activities are represented in this book. Students will continue developing high-frequency words with the repetitive text "In the fall, I like to." Activities include hiking, school, bake sale, football, picking apples, picking pumpkins, carving pumpkins & a bond fire with smores. 

Book 4: Fall Clothing

This book has students selecting the correct items of clothing. This book is Each page has "I want to," followed by "so I need." For example, students will select sunny days, swimming, and gardening items.

Thanksgiving

Book 1: Thanksgiving Day Parade

Students will listen to a short story about parade. The book has colorful pictures (but easy on that printer!) showing students what they can expect to see. They will see a big city, news reporters, big balloons, floats, bands & end the parade with you know who...Santa!

This story uses a repetitive text ("I like") and identifies the food. Traditional Thanksgiving foods are included: pumpkin pie, stuffing, apple pie, turkey, cranberry jelly, mashed potatoes, & dinner rolls

This apple themed preschool unit is designed to be used during an apple themed week where students are also learning about the letter A. Where is the black cat? This pumpkin themed sight word game is great for students who are practicing sight word recognition and beginning reading skills. This game can be used in a pocket chart or on a table top for an early education classroom.

How to Play:

Where's the Black Cat is a game for centers or whole group instruction where a cat is hidden behind a pumpkin. A poem is chanted where the student(s) must say the sight word they think the cat is behind. Once guessed, the sight word is removed. If the cat is behind the pumpkin, then the cat must be hidden again to play further. If the cat is not behind the pumpkin, then the poem is chanted again with a new sight word.

These alphabet clip cards are the perfect way for preschoolers and kindergartners to practice letter recognition and matching capital and lowercase letters. Students can also practice building fine motor skills by using clips to mark each letter.

What is Included:

There are 4 clip cards for each letter of the alphabet. Activities include matching the capital letter to a matching capital letter, matching a lowercase letter to the matching lowercase letter and matching capital letters with the correct lowercase letters.

How to Use:

Students will take one clip card, look at the letter on the card and then clip the letter that matches. The teach may choose to use small manipulatives, like mini erasers, bingo chips or counters to mark each correct response. Using hundreds charts is a great way for students to learn about numbers. This packet contains 7 hundred's chart mystery pictures of a jack-o-lantern, pumpkin, pumpkin patch, acorn, ear of corn, candy corn and fall leaf. Students have several ways to solve these mystery pictures:
