Differentiated "Guess Who Game" for Sight Words
Dolch Sight Words for pre-primer, primer, first grade, second grade, and third grade
Engage your elementary school ELA students by using this sight word game to practice reading sight words. Ideas for differentiation and prompting are included to ensure the game is suitable for students of all academic levels. This game also includes five levels of word difficulty- from pre-primer to third grade level words. The sets of cards are notated with different colored inner borders so you can easily tell them apart.
Note: All sight words for each level are included, but the entire set will not fit in each game board as the boards only hold 24 cards. Before game play, decide which cards you want your students to use and make sure the cards in both boards and the word card piles match.
This activity is perfect for elementary school reading and ELA centers, elementary school reading and ELA lesson plans, small group instruction, extra help sessions, early finishers, group/partner work, classroom competitions, individual practice, and so much more.

Place Value Number Matching with Base Ten Blocks Expanded Form

Students can use these cards to match two-, three-, and four-digit numbers with their base ten block representations, expanded form, and written form. Use the cards individually to create even more activities. For example, give students the three digit number card and have them build the number using actual base ten blocks. You can also give the students the clip art cards and have them write the three digit numbers or the numbers in expanded form. Una vez que encuentres la misma pegatina con tu Bitmoji, sigue estos pasos:
- Haz clic con el botón derecho del ratón en la pegatina que deseas cambiar.

- Elije 'Desde Portapapeles.'

Fractions in Spanish. Learning and practice. Fracciones. 1st, 2nd, and 3rd grade

Fantastic PowerPoint presentation to teach, learn and practice fractions in Spanish.
- What is a fraction?
-Structure of a fraction (numerador and denominador)
- Vocabulary (entero, medio, tercio, cuarto, quinto, sexto, séptimo, octavo)
Eight animated slides explain each of these words.
-2 quiz games to practice:
- How much pizza have I eaten so far? (¿Cuánta pizza he comido hasta ahora?)
- How much pizza is left? (¿Cuánta pizza queda por comer?)
The kids try to guess the answer in both games using fractions. Then they click on the answer button to know if they are right. The two sets of questions are shown in random order each time so that the children do not know the answers beforehand.
Instructions:
When you first open the document, you will be prompted to enable content that is blocked for security reasons. That content is nothing more than the Visual Basic code for the next slide button to achieve random order in both games. Please accept it in order to get the slides of the games in random order.
In the games, you are free to put your own Bitmoji.
I recommend that you watch the preview video to know how it works and where to click to activate each of the animations but it is really intuitive and easy to use. Your students will love this resource and they will learn by playing.

If you can't find the same sticker I've used but with your personal Bitmoji, I recommend using the Bitmoji mobile app, where you're sure to find it by using keywords in the search bar. Once you find the same sticker with your Bitmoji, follow these steps:
- Click the right mouse button on the sticker you want to change.
- Select 'Change Picture.'
- Choose 'From Clipboard.'
This will replace the sticker with your customized Bitmoji.

Si no puedes encontrar la misma pegatina que he utilizado pero con tu Bitmoji personal, te recomiendo usar la aplicación móvil de Bitmoji, donde seguramente la encontrarás utilizando palabras clave en la barra de búsqueda. Una vez que encuentres la misma pegatina con tu Bitmoji, sigue estos pasos:
- Haz clic con el botón derecho del ratón en la pegatina que deseas cambiar.
- Selecciona 'Cambiar Imagen.'
- Elije 'Desde Portapapeles.'

Juego del veo veo con relojes para practicar las en punto y las y media

Este recurso es una herramienta educativa excepcional diseñada para estudiantes de primer grado que se encuentran en el proceso de aprendizaje de la lectura de la hora. El juego combina diversión y aprendizaje para reforzar la comprensión de las horas en punto y media.
Instrucciones:
- Preparativos: Imprima una hoja de 'Veo, veo...' para cada estudiante o pareja participante, junto con las 24 horas diferentes, que incluyen las 12 horas en punto y las 12 horas y media. Para mayor durabilidad, lamínelas, lo que permitirá reutilizarlas en futuras ocasiones.
- Numeración: Elija 9 de las 24 fichas y numérelas del 1 al 9 utilizando un rotulador borrable. Cada ficha contiene un espacio donde se puede colocar el número correspondiente.
- Disposición en el aula: Distribuya las 9 hojas con los horarios seleccionados alrededor del aula, asegurándose de que estén visibles para los estudiantes.
Desarrollo del Juego:
Envíe a sus estudiantes a completar sus hojas de 'Veo, veo...' de forma individual o en parejas. En cada hoja, encontrarán 9 relojes analógicos y 9 relojes digitales. Armed with a magnifying glass, they'll circle or underline the discovered words and develop their tracing skills as they carefully trace the dotted words in the provided boxes. Both products can be purchased separately, but also together for a lower price.
Differentiation:
For children with greater ease when it comes to tracing the hidden words, I'd use the "Find and write" resource, while for the rest, I would opt for the "Find, circle, and trace" resource.
You will find three PDF files with three different font sizes of the hidden words for children with problems seeing words due to their visual ability. Use the one that suits each child or your group best. The two smaller ones will require the use of a magnifying glass, but most will be able to read the larger one without using it.

This I spy´´ game is part of a set with multiple ways to teach and learn almost 400 HMH First-grade words. 8 to 14 flashcards each week (the 8 High-frequency Words of that week and up to 6 High-frequency Decodable Words). There are a total of 36 weeks.

Some possible activities you could do with this resource:
- I Spy Game. Hide flashcards around the classroom for students to find and write on one of the two available worksheets*.
- Dictate the words on the flashcards in random order and have the students write them on one of the two available worksheets*.
- Use them as a Literacy Center. Laminate each flashcard. Place them face up and ask your students to find a specific word. You can do that only with the words of that week, with the words of a module, or with the whole set of words of the year.
*Two available worksheets:
- Fill in the blocks with each letter's size and length.
- Write the words on the blank lines with the corresponding words.

No hay mejor forma para aprender vocabulario que escribir las palabras tras fijarte minuciósamente en como se escriben.
Tus estudiantes tendrán que buscar con una lupa las palabras diminutas de la semana de HMH ocultas en los dibujos de animales, y las escribirlas en la propia ficha de trabajo. Finalmente podrán escribir una oración utilizando una o varias de las palabras de la semana y colorear el dibujo los que gusten o hayan terminado pronto.
Diferenciación:
- Para niños con mayor dificultad a la hora de escribir las palabras escondidas, existe este otro producto donde tan sólo se les requerirá trazar las palabras ya escritas con letra de puntos.
