Differentiated "Guess Who Game" for Sight Words
Dolch Sight Words for pre-primer, primer, first grade, second grade, and third grade
Engage your elementary school ELA students by using this sight word game to practice reading sight words. Ideas for differentiation and prompting are included to ensure the game is suitable for students of all academic levels. This game also includes five levels of word difficulty- from pre-primer to third grade level words. The sets of cards are notated with different colored inner borders so you can easily tell them apart.
Note: All sight words for each level are included, but the entire set will not fit in each game board as the boards only hold 24 cards. Before game play, decide which cards you want your students to use and make sure the cards in both boards and the word card piles match.
This activity is perfect for elementary school reading and ELA centers, elementary school reading and ELA lesson plans, small group instruction, extra help sessions, early finishers, group/partner work, classroom competitions, individual practice, and so much more.

Place Value Number Matching with Base Ten Blocks Expanded Form

Students can use these cards to match two-, three-, and four-digit numbers with their base ten block representations, expanded form, and written form. Use the cards individually to create even more activities. For example, give students the three digit number card and have them build the number using actual base ten blocks. You can also give the students the clip art cards and have them write the three digit numbers or the numbers in expanded form. The possibilities are endless and easily differentiated for every learner.

Fantastic PowerPoint presentation to teach, learn and practice fractions in Spanish.
- What is a fraction?
-Structure of a fraction (numerador and denominador)
- Vocabulary (entero, medio, tercio, cuarto, quinto, sexto, séptimo, octavo)
Eight animated slides explain each of these words.
-2 quiz games to practice:
- How much pizza have I eaten so far? (¿Cuánta pizza he comido hasta ahora?)
- How much pizza is left? (¿Cuánta pizza queda por comer?)
The kids try to guess the answer in both games using fractions. Then they click on the answer button to know if they are right. The two sets of questions are shown in random order each time so that the children do not know the answers beforehand.
Instructions:
When you first open the document, you will be prompted to enable content that is blocked for security reasons. That content is nothing more than the Visual Basic code for the next slide button to achieve random order in both games. Please accept it in order to get the slides of the games in random order.
In the games, you are free to put your own Bitmoji.
I recommend that you watch the preview video to know how it works and where to click to activate each of the animations but it is really intuitive and easy to use. Your students will love this resource and they will learn by playing.

There are two roulettes in every worksheet: One for the High-frequency Words and another for the Spelling Words. Do the one you want or both.
Directions: Take a pencil and a paper clip and use them as a spinner. Color in the box for the word spun. Keep going until one of the words won. Write the winning words on the bottom.
You will get two 36-pages PDF files:
- One to use as a center. It has the Title instead of the Name and Date field.
- One to use as a worksheet. It has a Name and Date field instead of the title.

Each animal has its own card with its image, its classification, and a video of 3 to 5 minutes or so about each one. Clicking on any of its features takes you to new tabs that will help you understand this wonderful world.
Almost everything is editable. In slide number 3, type the name of your class instead of "Ms. Garcia Store". For example "Ms. Garcia's class".

Travel with me on my plane and discover more than 150 animals within their respective habitats and ecosystems. Learn about their main characteristics and their classification within the animal world. Each animal has its own card with its image, its classification, and a video of 3 to 5 minutes or so about each one. Clicking on any of its features takes you to new tabs that will help you understand this wonderful world. Absolutely all the tiles are interconnected.
Almost everything is editable. In slide number 3 type the name of your class instead of "Ms Garcia Store". For example "Ms. Garcia's class".

Encourage their creativity by inviting them to craft unique sentences using the week's words and bring the illustrations to life with their own colorful touches.
- 'Find, circle, and trace' resource: Ignite curiosity and engagement as your students set off on a thrilling quest to locate hidden HMH week words in charming animal illustrations. Armed with a magnifying glass, they'll circle or underline the discovered words and develop their tracing skills as they carefully trace the dotted words in the provided boxes. Just like the other resource, they'll have the opportunity to express their creativity by crafting meaningful sentences using the week's words and adding vibrant colors to the artwork.
Both products can be purchased separately, but also together for a lower price.
Differentiation:
For children with greater ease when it comes to tracing the hidden words, I'd use the "Find and write" resource, while for the rest, I would opt for the "Find, circle, and trace" resource.
You will find three PDF files with three different font sizes of the hidden words for children with problems seeing words due to their visual ability. Use the one that suits each child or your group best. The two smaller ones will require the use of a magnifying glass, but most will be able to read the larger one without using it.

Juego del veo veo con relojes para practicar las en punto y las y media

Este recurso es una herramienta educativa excepcional diseñada para estudiantes de primer grado que se encuentran en el proceso de aprendizaje de la lectura de la hora. El juego combina diversión y aprendizaje para reforzar la comprensión de las horas en punto y media.
Instrucciones:
- Preparativos: Imprima una hoja de 'Veo, veo...' para cada estudiante o pareja participante, junto con las 24 horas diferentes, que incluyen las 12 horas en punto y las 12 horas y media. Para mayor durabilidad, lamínelas, lo que permitirá reutilizarlas en futuras ocasiones.
- Numeración: Elija 9 de las 24 fichas y numérelas del 1 al 9 utilizando un rotulador borrable. Cada ficha contiene un espacio donde se puede colocar el número correspondiente.
- Disposición en el aula: Distribuya las 9 hojas con los horarios seleccionados alrededor del aula, asegurándose de que estén visibles para los estudiantes.
Desarrollo del Juego:
Envíe a sus estudiantes a completar sus hojas de 'Veo, veo...' de forma individual o en parejas. En cada hoja, encontrarán 9 relojes analógicos y 9 relojes digitales. Deberán dibujar las manecillas en los relojes analógicos con un marcador borrable y escribir la hora correspondiente en los relojes digitales.
Puede personalizar la dinámica del juego según sus preferencias, ya sea fomentando la cooperación entre los estudiantes o incentivando la competencia amigable.
Si desean volver a jugar, simplemente sustituyan los 9 relojes utilizados por otros de los 15 restantes, lo que proporciona una variación constante y diversión continua en el aprendizaje de la lectura del reloj.

Explore Various Activities:
