This fun and engaging deck of 20 CARDS will reinforce PHONEMIC AWARENESS SKILLS in students as they work independently to identify whether a SOUND is heard in the beginning, middle, or end of a word.
Each card includes a picture and a dot with CLEAR AUDIO of a phoneme attached. Students are required to LISTEN TO THE PHONEME and DRAG THE DOT to the beginning, middle, or end in the ELKONIN BOXES depending on where it is heard in the word.
AUDIO is provided for all items and the first two cards provide SCAFFOLDED DIRECTIONS with audio. IMMEDIATE FEEDBACK is provided and students will be automatically directed to the next card once the correct answer has been chosen.
PHONEMIC AWARENESS, or the ability to MANIPULATE INDIVIDUAL SOUNDS OR PHONEMES within words, is a critical skill for children to learn prior to decoding and spelling.
Being able to successfully IDENTIFY, SUBSTITUTE, and DELETE PHONEMES in words is a predictor of future reading success. Because phonemic awareness involves the sounds or phonemes in words, it does not include or require knowledge of alphabetic characters.

This packet contains clip cards for the AT word family. These clip cards are a great fine motor literacy center or as a Kindergarten phonics center. There are 3 different card types for each picture with several different representation of the words.
Types of Clip Cards
- The first set of cards have the picture with the beginning sound or blend for the at word and students must clip the correct word family ending to complete the word. For example, the card will have a picture of a hat with h _ _ under the picture. The choices the student will choose from will be like at, ag or am.
- The second set of cards have the picture with no word and the student must pick the correct word from a choice of 3 different words with the same beginning sound but with different ending word families. For example, students will see a picture of a hat and must choose the correct answer from these choices: hat, ham or han.
- The third set of cards have the picture with no word and the student must pick the correct word from a choice of 3 different words with the same beginning and ending sound. Only the vowel is different. For example, students will see a picture of a hat and much choose the correct answer from these choices: hat, hit, or hot.

BOOM CARDS™ Digital Task Cards Phonemic Awareness-Ending Sound Isolation AUDIO!

⭐️ PHONOLOGICAL AWARENESS ⭐️ PHONEMIC AWARENESS ⭐️ ELKONIN BOXES ⭐️
This fun and engaging deck of 20 CARDS will reinforce PHONEMIC AWARENESS SKILLS in students as they work independently to identify ENDING sounds.
Each card includes AUDIO of a clearly spoken PHONEME (sound) and three multiple-choice pictures with audio descriptions. Students are required to listen to the phoneme and select the picture with that phoneme in the FINAL position.
AUDIO is provided for all items and the first card provides DIRECTIONS with AUDIO. IMMEDIATE FEEDBACK is provided and students will be automatically directed to the next card once the correct answer has been chosen.
PHONEMIC AWARENESS, or the ability to MANIPULATE INDIVIDUAL SOUNDS OR PHONEMES within words, is a critical skill for children to learn prior to decoding and spelling.
Being able to successfully IDENTIFY, SUBSTITUTE, and DELETE PHONEMES in words is a PREDICTOR of future READING SUCCESS. Because phonemic awareness involves the sounds or phonemes in words, it does not include or require knowledge of alphabetic characters.
These task cards target the PHONEME ISOLOLATION tier in the hierarchy of phonemic awareness.
