How to have better mornings is a yoga and mindfulness lesson plan that you can repeat over and over.

With breathing, mindfulness, and yoga poses, start your day off on the right side of the bed (or classroom)

Adaptive Books & followup materials focused on following directions.

Following Directions: Adaptive books are interactive, as students will match the corresponding icon to each page. The books 2 levels and they are in color and in black and white. Level 1: short paragraph about different scenarios in which students need to follow directions (bathroom, dismissal, computer, work, snack, recess, & games. Level 2: book contains repetitive text "I will listen to my teacher when ....".

Following Directions Supplemental worksheets: Print and go worksheets! They are designed for student who need additional practice with simple directions. Use these during direct instruction & after reading the adaptive stories.

This Visual Social Story - When I Feel Angry at School can be used by parents and educators to students with Autism and other developmental disorders. Emotions are BIG in preschool classrooms and at home! In order to learn and grow, children first need to be able to express how they feel and why they feel that way. Placing an emphasis on social emotional learning will help equip your students with skills to become better learners and ultimately better people. This learning unit has been designed with children aged 3 to 4 years old in mind, and contains 10 games, drawing activities and crafts to engage learners**.**

Play and Purposes Feelings unit focuses on:

• Using picture books to share real life examples of how we can understand and express our emotions
• Practicing expressing feelings individually, in pairs, small groups, and as a whole class
• Learning about feelings, identifying them, and expressing them through playing games, writing, and creative expression

The 10 lessons included in this unit include 5 activity types:

• Read and React Group Lessons
• Play in a Small Group 
• Read and Respond Drawing
• Let’s Play All Together
• Craft and Create

The 2 week unit focuses on happiness and what feelings look like in those around us. Many lessons contain ways to scaffold the learning to your students and allow for the most learning to take place as possible!
