This alphabet interactive notebook is a simple activity to get your students to learn about letters and sounds at the beginning of the year. You can print this out to use in an interactive notebook or you can use it on a digital device for remote learning using Google Classroom. It has very simple square cut-outs that make it super easy for young kinders who are just getting used to using scissors. Students will cut on the dotted lines and fold on the solid lines and paste into a notebook. Students will practice writing their letters with a pencil and then write the rainbow style for all 26 letters of the alphabet using colored pencils or crayons. Next, the student will draw two pictures with the correct beginning sounds under the two flaps. For students that need more enrichment, you could also require them to label their pictures using their knowledge of inventive spelling. Each letter of the alphabet also includes a find a color page for beginning sounds. At the end of the notebook the students can write the alphabet in the boxes provided.
