Need an awesome Art Unit? I have just the thing for you! This creative Fingerprint Flower Garden Scene was designed to be printed and displayed as examples while you teach. Use this Google Slide file to display these beautiful images one-by-one on a large screen. For this assignment, I asked students to use their pointer finger (no paint brush) to create the flower pedals. Students filled the paper with fingerprint flowers for one class period. During the second-class period, students used crayons and color markers to draw stems, leaves, grass, insects, and other things in their scene. I hope you and your kiddos love this! Enjoy.

Students can answer these questions as the book is read or after they have finished reading the book or listening to the book. While reading this book and answering these questions, students will learn about bad/unhealthy habits, healthy habits, being nervous, self confidence, low self confidence, high self confidence, feeling lonely and depressed/sad, teasing, and breaking unhealthy habits. Students can answer these short answer questions, yes/no questions, multiple choice questions, and vocabulary/picture labeling questions as the book is read to them, as they read the book independently or they can use the text for lookbacks once the book is finished. Vocabulary words, their meanings, and examples of the words used in sentences are presented. Students have the opportunity to use those words in sentences as well.

Need an awesome Art Unit? I have just the thing for you! This creative Fingerprint Flower Garden Scene was designed to be printed and displayed as examples while you teach. Use this Google Slide file to display these beautiful images one-by-one on a large screen. For this assignment, I asked students to use their pointer finger (no paint brush) to create the flower pedals. Students filled the paper with fingerprint flowers for one class period. During the second-class period, students used crayons and color markers to draw stems, leaves, grass, insects, and other things in their scene. I hope you and your kiddos love this! Enjoy.

In this product, Reading Street - Scene 2 is read and reviewed. In this product, students will read the text, Scene 2. Students will review/learn what a play is, will see the set up of a play that includes the title, author, characters, stage directions, and how the characters lines, including the narrator's lines are set up. As students read the text, Scene 2, they will answer comprehension questions using this product. They can complete these questions individually, in a small group, or with support. There are several pages of comprehension questions in this packet that differ from the questions asked in the teacher edition. The questions from the text are adapted in this packet to meet each of your student's needs. At the end of the packet, students will answer comprehension questions about the authors - Don Abramson and Robert Kausal. At the end of the packet is a template and the steps necessary for your students to write a play as well.
