Do you need a teacher and student-friendly sight word tracking and assessment system to progress monitor your first grade students’ high-frequency words?

Do you want an easy and efficient way to TRACK AND ANALYZE STUDENT SIGHT WORD DATA and progress on IEP goals in your special education classroom?

Look forward to assessment day with this DIGITAL ASSESSMENT TOOL in GOOGLE SHEETS for tracking the First 25 (set 1) of the Second 100 Fry’s Instant Words (words 101-125).

The First 300 Fry Instant Words make up 65% of all written material. These words should be mastered by the end of second grade. Even if you are not explicitly teaching the Fry Instant Words, an improvement in the students’ ability to orthographically map these words should be evident throughout the school year.

This product includes progress monitoring for the FIRST 25 INSTANT WORDS (set 1) of the SECOND 100 of Fry's Instant Words. Words 101-125 are displayed in an easy-to-read font and in a different order on each probe.

How they work:

Make a digital copy of the Google Sheet for each student!

Check the missed word on the assessor probe to AUTOMATICALLY CALCULATE WORDS READ CORRECTLY and ACCURACY. All data is copied to the student data sheet and WORDS READ CORRECTLY are GRAPHED!

✤ To Print Task Cards: The Task Cards, as downloaded, are 1/2 page which are great for students that need a larger size. To print 4x6 index card sized task cards, select "2 pages per sheet". To print 3x5 index card sized task cards, select "4 pages per sheet". These are not designed to print directly to index card template paper. What has worked best for my students was to print to on heavy duty card stock and laminate.
