This Life Skills lesson is tailored for older special education students with special needs who are preparing for the workforce. It covers four main job types—Full-Time, Part-Time, Seasonal, and Per Diem—and explores the pros and cons of each, such as stability, flexibility, and benefits. Through practical examples and reflective questions, students will think about their own occupation preferences. This occupations lesson provides essential vocational training to help students make informed choices as they step into employment.

With Level 2, your students will read a winter word and choose the picture of that word out of 3 choices. There are additional differentiated levels available.

Winter Functional Vocabulary Sight Word Unit Level 2 provides direct instruction in familiarizing students with words associated with winter. These skills will assist your students in becoming more independent in their daily life. There are 20 total self-grading Google Slides activity cards where the student will read a winter related word. They will then choose the correct picture matching the word out of a choice of 3 pictures. Valentine's Day Reading Comprehension and Sequencing Craft

Students will love this Valentine's Day themed, educational activity that goes along with one of my favorite Valentine's Day books: There Was an Old Lady Who Swallowed a Rose.

No book? No problem! A link to the story read aloud on YouTube is included on the directions page!

Use with the book There was an Old Lady who Swallowed a Rose. Students can read the story and use the picture "leaves" to sequence the events of the story as they add leaves to their rose.

Includes a differentiated sequencing assessment (fill in the blank and multiple choice versions) along with a list of seven easy ways to differentiate instruction with this resource.

Get your students ready to learn 30 Back to School Vocabulary Sight Words!

Back To School Functional Vocabulary Sight Word No Prep Unit provides direct instruction in familiarizing students with back to school items found in the classroom and school. These skills will assist your students in becoming more independent in their daily life. There are 30 total self-grading Google Slides activity cards where the student will identify a back to school related picture. They will then choose the correct word out of a choice of 3 words. If the student chooses the “correct” slides, they will see a "correct" slide and if it is incorrect, they will see a "try again" slide and they will have an opportunity to try again. There is also a Title Page, Ways To Use Page, and Congratulations page. Additionally, 30 Total Offline, Interactive, self-grading activity cards in .pdf format, 30 Task Cards, 30 Sight Words with Pictures, and 30 Sight Words without Pictures are included.
