Some of the questions require students to put their feet in the shoes of the characters. Students will learn the meaning for the words insecure, secure, confident, what you may do/feel when you feel secure, what can feeling insecure do, how you feel when you have positive self-esteem -feeling secure and negative self-esteem - feelings insecure, and how you feel when you feel secure.
In the social story that is included in this product that relates with feeling insecure, students will learn how feeling insecure can impact relationships, communication, mood, self-esteem, etc. and how to be more secure in challenging situations.
The social story include comprehension questions throughout. Some of the questions require students to put their feet in the shoes of the characters. At the end of this product, there are 4 role-playing scenario cards that will require students to discuss how the character was feeling insecure, what each character feels insecure about, what the character can do to feel better about the given situation, what the student would do if they were in that situation, etc.
