Where is the sun? This summer sight word game is great for students who are practicing sight word recognition and beginning reading skills. This game can be used in a pocket chart or on a table top for an early education classroom.

What is Included:

• Sight word cards for the Fry 101-200 sight word list.
• Sun cards for hiding

The cards are available in two formats, 6 to a page and 4 to a page to accommodate different sized pocket charts.

How to Play:

Where's the Sun is a game for centers or whole group instruction where a sun is hidden behind a cloud. A poem is chanted where the student(s) must say the sight word they think the sun is behind. Once guessed, the sight word is removed. If the sun is behind the cloud, then the sun must be hidden again to play further. If the sun is not behind the cloud, then the poem is chanted again with a new sight word.

Your 3rd, 4th, and 5th graders will love practicing reading out loud with these engaging and high-interest sentences!  This set includes 48 low-prep sentences perfect for practicing reading fluency.  The sentences are all about summer, camping, and ice cream!
