Bingo game to support children in using different calming strategies to help with anxiety. Each time they use a different strategy they can mark it off on the board and try to get 3 in a row. There are different versions for children to either write down their own preferred strategies or use the given ones.

Managing anxiety can be challenging for children. This bingo game provides a unique and engaging approach for teaching calming strategies to help children handle difficult emotions.

Anxiety Bingo transforms a classic game into a tool for building emotional intelligence. It’s an excellent way to introduce calming skills or reinforce concepts learned. By completing the boards children can discover new coping methods tailored to their needs. This versatile resource works for individual and group settings with children of varying ages and abilities.

The set includes 3 different bingo boards each with 9 squares. Each square features a different calming technique like taking deep breaths, getting a drink of water, hugging a stuffed animal, positive self-talk, or writing down your feelings. Peer pressure is real and all too common! Teens constantly experience all kinds of peer pressure both in and out of school. Peer pressure can ultimately affect teens' decision-making. It's often hard to navigate difficult situations and say "no," especially when there is a strong human need to fit in and feel important.

This resource focuses on negative peer pressure, providing opportunities for teachers, educators, counselors, and parents to help students:

★ make better decisions when it comes to awkward or difficult situations

★ say "no" when they have to

★ think before they act

★ consider possible consequences of their decisions

Additionally, the scenarios in the activities allow opportunities for you to teach your students exit strategies or ways to say "no" to negative pressures.

Together, you can think through strategies on how to deal with those situations and scenarios if they arise. This can be done by discussing the scenarios and even role-playing. Here are FOUR simple activities you can do as a class to help review the books of the Bible:

Old Testament Game

The first is simply books of the Old Testament that students put in order as quickly as possible then say the names of the books together to review.

New Testament Game

The second is books of the New Testament that are placed in order on the frames to review.

I have also added six pages that can be used in digital resources by filling in the missing books of the Bible.

Fun Facts Activity

There is also an information page with six facts about the books of the Bible. I send this home as homework for students to learn the facts, decorate and bring back for a treat.

Individual New Testament Game

My favorite activity is a board game you can use as an individual activity or as partners. The board is printed in black and white on paper. Kids will roll a dice or spin a spinner to move their game piece. They color the piece where they land as well as say the books of the Bible as they go. The game continues until the board is completely colored.

After playing these games several times, students are much more familiar with the books of the Bible and some will be able to recite them by memory. I use these activities in Children's Church and the kids really enjoy it!
