DESCRIPTION

▶️ This is an comprehensive Picture Inference Lesson PACKET that includes at least eight activities where students can practice the skill of social inferencing using pictures that are relevant to this day in age. There are a total of 10 pictures that students will use to make inferences. Students have multiple opportunities to observe a social situation and combine picture clues and their background knowledge to figure out what is happening. Students can make inferences about how the people in the pictures are feeling, what they are doing, what they may be thinking, and what situation they may be in.

▶️ This lesson plan will help students learn how to read, interpret, and think about social situations. ALL pictures are age appropriate as you will not hesitate to use any picture during the learning process. After engaging in multiple inferencing activities, students will have the opportunity to reflect on their understanding of the lesson as well as their participation during the learning process. They can use the provided Reflection Sheets of your choice or their choice!

This Bulletin Board Visual Schedule Set can be used with your whole class or for each individual student in your classroom. Having a daily visual schedule up on the board for students to refer to can be a great strategy to help increase predictability in a student’s day and reduce anxiety.

This Visual Schedule Board set will allow you to have a daily classroom agenda for individual students or your whole class to refer to throughout the day.

If you are teaching in a classroom where students are following different schedules throughout the day, this set is perfect for creating individual visual schedules for each student. I will usually section off a portion of one of my boards in columns large enough to fit the board labels, making sure there is one column for each student. From there, I will have each student’s name at the top, and then their individual schedule below their name.

There is also a “set schedule” label, which prompts students to use the large schedule on the board to follow as they set their own personal visual schedule for the day. (Check out my Visual Schedule set for personal visual schedule options!). This increases independence for students as they manage their own individual schedule for the day.

There are also editable name and subject labels so that you can personalize and individualize schedules for your classroom and your students.

As our Deaf/hard of hearing/ELL students are completing written assignments, little words/parts of speech that are commonly confused when writing with words such as there, their, and they're. My students are confusing them for each other continuously. The words there, their, and they're are emphasized in this product. Students will determine if there, their, and they're belong in each sentence, circle the correct use of the word there, their, and they're in sentences, write sentences using there, their, and they're when looking at different picture scenarios, and will write there, their, or they're to complete each sentence.
