I have your back. I've been teaching math and computer science, including APCSP, APCSA, and Data Structures for almost two decades. I also teach an introduction course. This is part of the course I made up for my intro students. I have a BS in computer science and know what students need to know.
This is part 5 of an introductory Programming in Java course. These lessons are meant to be done over a few days; the idea is to get students doing cool stuff as fast as possible. With Java, that is NOT an easy task.

French Être Expressions - Reading, Writing, Speaking, Listening

Do you find it nearly impossible to find French grammar based reading, writing, speaking, and listening activities? The focus on specific grammar themes seems to get pushed aside when you want to incorporate all of the other skills. This is a set of four booklets based on the French verb être and expressions with être.
When you’re teaching the verb être, you may not want everything you do to be absolutely grammar based, because that can become boring.
This set of four one-page front and back, no-prep booklets includes reading comprehension with questions, a grammar quiz, a writing exercise with three activities, and a partnered writing and speaking activity.
These activities do not include rules. The activities in these booklets are not for absolute beginners.
These activities are meant to provide your students with an opportunity for a challenging review of this grammar topic.
All of the booklets are based on mastering être and être expressions.

A picture is also included to represent each family vocabulary word. At the end of this section, students will answer comprehension questions that relate with the family vocabulary words that were learned in this product.

This is a paper based, SPRING themed resource. Products featured are Spring related: gardening tools, spring sports equipments, rain boots, umbrella , etc.
This resource is designed to expose students to a variety of real-world shopping situations. Students are given a prices on products and are asked to look at the money provided and determine if they have enough money. Students will also be asked look at the price of real products and identify the correct amount of money needed. Students will also calculate totals of multiple items
How to use this product:
•Print out and have students complete as a worksheet/ workbook.
•Print & laminate for repeated use for fast finishers.
•Project pages onto the board to complete as a class. Have students take turns coloring or circling the correct amount of money.
•Project pages onto board and have student use the cut out or laminated money to present the correct dollar up amount needed for each question.
Any Novel Reading Journal Project-Alternative Book Report

Students will fill these pages in response to any novel they are reading, whether independently or as part of a whole class reading assignment. Each Project includes a student page with instructions and directions to complete each journal page, as well as a grading rubric to use these journal pages as a whole novel project. You could also use these pages individually and pick ones to use for a specific concept to teach or reflect on. Level one is geared toward middle school-aged students or those who require additional support or guidance with a reflective journal piece. Level two is intended for high school students and requires more in-depth analysis and writing skills. Both levels are included in this product, allowing you to choose the level that is most suitable for your students or to mix and match as needed (note that the grading rubric will not apply if you combine pages from one level with those from another).

Calculus AB Indefinite Integral Guided Notes | Antiderivative Practice |

Learn and practice the indefinite integral with this complete lesson. In this print and go lesson, you can print all 7 pages out and give it out as a packet to start the topic. Have them start off completing the word search with vocabulary associated with the antiderivative and indefinite integral. Go through the guided notes and the examples with them (or they can do it alone with the guidance of the notes). Then have them work with a partner to complete the partner problems. After that they will complete the independent practice to see what they understand on their own. You can assign them the HW for the night. The next day they can summarize what they learned, reflect on what was challenging and what was not and then rate themselves on a scale of 1-4 to self assess how well they understood this lesson.

WHAT YOU GET:
>> DO NOW: Students will complete a short word search to familiarize themselves with the vocabulary associated with the antiderivative. They will fill in a chart reflecting on words they have heard of and have not.

>>PARTNER PROBLEMS: They will each complete 5 problems each and then check each others problems to reinforce the concepts of the antiderivative.
>>INDEPENDENT PROBLEMS: Students will then work alone to see how well they understand the indefinite integral on their own without the help of their partner and complete 10 problems.
>>HW: Students will complete 4 practice problems to practice.
>>SUMMARIZE, REFLECT, ASSESS: Students will summarize the lesson, reflect on the challenges they had and then self assess from 1-4 to determine how well they understood the indefinite integral.
