A funny Christmas play that revolves around a town where everyone loves Christmas. In fact they love Christmas so much it is all they talk about! However, a mysterious outcast lives outside of the town; this outcast hates Christmas and anything to do with the festive time of year. This beast is called the Grouch!

The play follows the story of Mary-Boo and her family as they open up to the Grouch, and try to show him what Christmas is all about. However, the Grouch has his own plans to ruin Christmas for the town, and steals all the presents on Christmas eve.

He has a change of heart however when he hears the town enjoying Christmas even though he had stolen all of the presents. After this he returns the gifts and takes part in all the festivities.

Grades 3-6 Plot summary: The day after Thanksgiving “Black Friday”, is typically known as the beginning of the holiday shopping season. Department stores slash prices to mind-boggling low levels as shoppers battle their way through crowds to get items in their hands before many of their fellow shopping compatriots. We follow the story of Shannon, a business magnate who travels for her profession and is compelled to wait in line to purchase the brand new gaming system, The Flexdrive 2000. She plans to present this gift to her two children as she flies home after the Thanksgiving holiday. After unexpectedly waiting in the checkout line longer than she anticipates, she realizes that she missed her flight home – and that’s when the story begins take on a b-plot of its own. Shannon, along with other supporting coworkers, acquaintances, and a South California beach bum, are forced to make choices that will directly impact the holiday shopping season, and more importantly, time spent with their families. Join us in a hip-hop, non-stop adventure through the post- Thanksgiving merchandise frenzy in ”Black Flyday” The musical is 25 minutes in duration and features 6 movements in various musical genres. Social stories are a tool used by parents and educators that can help kids, teens, and adults with Autism and other Developmental Disorders understand what will be coming up in their day, reduce anxiety, and learn rules and social cues.

When snow begins falling heavily on a wintry night, a girl wonders if the next day will bring a snow day filled with snowball fights, sledding, and even more snow.

There are four versions included. Two of the versions have roles for three students. The other two versions have roles for four students. All four versions are four pages each. You can see one page of the different versions in the PDF preview.

The Kindness Crew 

In this Readers Theatre script, your students will meet the unique characters of the Kindness Crew: Charlie, Grace and Emma, as they embark on a mission to teach Zog, an alien from Planet Meany, about the importance of kindness.

The Inner Voices

In this Readers Theatre script, your students will meet Emma and Liam, whose ‘inner champion’ and ‘inner critic’ accompany them for a day at school. Inner Champion offers positivity, encouragement and kindness… Whilst Inner Critic is negative, unhelpful and unkind.

The Emotion Busters 

In this Readers Theatre script, your students will meet the unique characters of “The Emotion Busters”: Happy Harry, Sad Sally, Fearful Fred, Frustrated Fran and Angry Alex, as they drink a potion to suppress emotions they don’t like.

Resilient Riley 

In this Readers Theatre script, your students will meet the unique characters of Resilient Riley and Non Resilient Riley. Resilient Riley steps up to date to day challenges, however Non Resilient Riley runs away and ends up feeling even worse.

On arrival she wasn’t welcomed by her father but soon the family grew to like Holly, and she also found a boyfriend. But then everything changed when she fell out with her father and she decided to leave.

This Rules I Follow at School social story can be used with students who are learning the rules and routines at school. It includes images that are appropriate for students of all ages.

Social stories are a tool used by parents and educators that can help kids, teens, and adults with Autism and other Developmental Disorders understand what will be coming up in their day, reduce anxiety, and learn rules and social cues.

To use this social story, read through the story together each day and reinforce using the included visuals. This story can be used as a whole class lesson, or with individual students who need some additional support.

The Rules I Follow at School Social Story includes:

Five Christmas play scripts for just $18, each is usually priced at $5.50.

Firstly, a funny Christmas play that revolves around Holly the Elf. After being accidentally taken to the North Pole one Christmas Eve, she stayed until adulthood and grew up thinking she was an elf herself. One day she found out she was a human, and decided to go and visit her biological father. On arrival she wasn’t welcomed by her father but soon the family grew to like Holly, and she also found a boyfriend. But then everything changed when she fell out with her father and she decided to leave. However, as she was walking alone, she heard a crash; when she went to investigate, she noticed it was her good friend, Santa. Her family catch up with her and together they all manage to lift Christmas spirit and power Santa’s sleigh.

Secondly, we have a funny Christmas play that revolves around the town of Bootown, where all the Boos love Christmas. In fact they love Christmas so much it is all they talk about! However, a mysterious outcast lives to the North of the town; this outcast hates Christmas and anything to do with the festive time of year. This outcast is called the Grouch! The play follows the story of Mary-Boo and her family as they open up to the Grouch, and try to show him what Christmas is all about. However, the Grouch has his own plans to ruin Christmas for the town, and steals all the presents on Christmas eve. He has a change of heart however when he hears the town enjoying Christmas even though he had stolen all of the presents. His heart grows and he quickly returns the gifts and takes part in all the festivities.

Thirdly, we have a play script for A Christmas Carol, however it is a modern remake that is based in a school - with the head teacher being Ebenezer Scrooge - you can change the names of the characters to teachers in your school, or to rhyme with teachers in your school as I did (if they have a sense of humour)! There are song recommendations throughout the script, with a mixture of traditional Christmas songs and modern songs. There are 20-22 speaking parts, with additional non-speaking roles too.

There are song recommendations throughout the script, with a mixture of traditional Christmas songs and modern songs. There are 20-22 speaking parts, with additional non-speaking roles too. The play is around 40-50 minutes long.
