Why do you need this?
Compound word jigsaws help expand students' vocabulary by introducing them to new compound words and reinforcing their understanding of word formation. Engaging with compound word jigsaws supports the development of language skills such as word blending, segmentation, and phonics.
Contractions are common in the English language, and jigsaws provide a hands-on way for students to practice identifying and forming contractions. As students assemble the jigsaw pieces to form contractions, they reinforce spelling patterns and conventions associated with contraction formation.

Introduction to Wordle! This is a print and go activity with multiple levels as students develop skills. The playing mats can be reprinted and used again and again as so many different words can be created.
Begin with 3 letter words -
Level 1 - Students can use the alphabet to guess letters in your chosen word. You will mark (red, yellow or green) once students have guessed.
Level 2: Students will use a letter bank (10 letters) to make CVC words. You will again mark the students guesses.
Wordle mats with 4 letter words -
Level 1 - Students can use the alphabet to guess letters in your chosen word. You will mark (red, yellow or green) once students have guessed. (These are great for digraph, or consonant blend practice!)

This is a spring-themed activity to practice beginning Digraphs Sh-, Th-, Wh-, and Ch-.
**Students will need Scissors, Glue/Tap, and Colored Pencils/Crayons.**
Students will need to cut out the center of the flower with the beginning digraphs on them. Then they will need to cut off the pedals. (6 pedals for each digraph). Once they have cut it all out, they will then glue/tape the pedals to which center they belong.
Example: There goes with Th- center.
This would be a great activity to display students' work!
