This is a paper based, HOLIDAY themed resource. Products featured are Christmas, Hanukkah, Kwanza and Winter themed.

This resource is designed to expose students to a variety of real-world shopping situations. Students are given a prices on products and are asked to look at the money provided and determine if they have enough money. Students will also be asked look at the price of real products and identify the correct amount of money needed. Students will also calculate totals of multiple items

How to use this product:

•Print out and have students complete as a worksheet/ workbook.

•Print & laminate for repeated use for fast finishers.

•Project pages onto the board to complete as a class. Have students take turns coloring or circling the correct amount of money.

Teaching kids about gratitude is a mindset that will benefit them for years to come. Research tells us that gratitude has many benefits, including greater life satisfaction and better attitudes about school.

Gratitude provides perspective for kids–they can learn to see through the eyes of others, and through that, they can learn to form healthy relationships with themselves and others.

For this assignment, I asked students to get with a partner or into small groups and brainstorm subject matter, orientation, and theme of the overall composition. This beefy 125+ page unit on weather and seasons is perfect for your older Core French students who might not have had the luxury of learning this vocabulary and these concepts when they were supposed to. This product (and my other Core French products) are built for exactly that demographic: middle school kids who are too old and "too mature" (so they think!) to be learning these babyish concepts. I teach with a game-based model, and within this unit, you'll have full guided lesson plans showing you how to engage them at every step of the way. This document is divided in two parts: One Slide Deck features interactive games and instructional materials, and a second Slide Deck features all of your lesson plans (including classroom management suggestions, alternative plans, and differentiated models), worksheets, project instructions + success criteria, flashcards + printable games, templates, activities, and word wall vocabulary. It really depends on a lot of things. Estimated completion time is 45-60 minutes but it’s based on the kids’ puzzle skills, group size, and age. We recommend ages [7-12].

How many kids can play at once?

Kids can play individually, with friends, or in large groups. There really is no limit to the number of players.

What if the kids get stuck on one of the puzzles?

First off, let them think for a bit! This is where critical thinking skills come in. If they get stuck, hint cards have been included in your download to guide them and provide examples.

Where do kids start?

Kids can start on any puzzles and complete the puzzles in ANY order!

How do you know if their answers are correct?

There is an answer key provided in the PDF.

How do I set up the activity?
