The passages are written on different levels and are of different length making it easy to differentiate. There are corresponding recording sheets to help students show what they have read about. The passages were written with fourth graders in mind, but the information is very interesting and complex and would be useful for upper grades as well.

This is a great science 3-page non-fiction text about how some animals use the earth's magnetic field to help them with migration. It is paired with a choice of two STEM activities (one easy and one more challenging).
