Division of Fractions as Multiplication: Task Cards
By Colleen Burdette
Important skill practice for division of fractions:
An important skill to master before dividing fractions is converting division expressions into multiplication expressions. Once students have mastered this use of reciprocals, division of fractions is so much easier to comprehend.
Students can use these task cards in any order and still complete the whole rotation. This is a great activity for collaborative work. Students can support one another through the cards.
