Engage your star-struck middle-schoolers with 10 animated slides with their favorite celebrities! They'll be prompted to say hair and eye color, as well as if they like or dislike the celebrity. In this activity, your students will sort the given list of 20 English sentences into two categories: saber or conocer. You could easily adapt this activity for other tenses, simply by providing your own list. Do you struggle to present new vocabulary in a comprehensible way while staying completely in the target language? Then this fun PowerPoint presentation is a great way to introduce or review food vocabulary with your elementary or secondary class. There are 119 terms represented on 122 different slides (plus a title page and a teacher tips page).

The terms represented include:

Are you looking for an easy and fun way to review Thanksgiving vocabulary with your Spanish students? Then look no further! This low-prep set of three matamoscas (flyswatter) games is a great way to practice or review Thanksgiving-related vocabulary with your elementary or secondary class.

This activity is intended for use as a paired game, but it can also be used as a large-group game (by projecting the chosen game page onto your whiteboard). If you're not familiar with how the game is played, it's simple: all you need to play is enough copies of the game board and two different colored writing utensils per pair of students. You call out terms from the call list included with the game boards and each person scrambles to find and mark it before their partner. At the end of the game, the player with the most terms marked wins! This resource includes:

• two game pages with all terms in Spanish only (the only difference between the two pages is that the first page uses the term judías verdes and the second uses ejotes)
• one game page with the terms in Spanish and English
• two game pages with pictures only, no words (the only difference between the two pages is that the first is in color and the second is black and white)
