Daily Math Bellringers: August: Measurement, Geometry, Data

By Colleen Burdette

Engaging Daily practice:

I never seem to have enough time to practice measurement, geometry, and data, so I created these bellringers to quickly practice these skills with my class.

These bellringers are based on “National day of...”. The problems presented cover measurement conversion, geometry (polygons, perimeter, area, volume), data collection and analysis.

This is a digital activity which can be posted each day. Answer sheets are provided in three options. Teachers can choose between sheets with or without reference items.

Great practice of those skills which don't get as much attention.

What's included:

  • Google Slides for August with reference items.
  • Google Slides for August with reference items and answers.
  • Google Slides for August with no reference items.
  • Google Slides for August with no reference items with answers.
  • Three versions of answer sheets for students.
  • Answer key.
  • Teacher instructions.
  • Links for Google Slides.

How is this product useful:

  • Low prep for the teacher.
  • Engaging for the students.
  • Good practice for important math skills.
  • Options for a variety of skill levels.
