Looking for an easy and fun way to learn about all the shapes? In this Google Slides activity children will be searching provided shape words in the word search. They will slide colored cover ups to show where the words are located. Great for distance learning, preschool classroom, homeschooling or anywhere else. Great help for preschoolers and kindergarteners.

In this Google Slides activity, students will learn about their shapes. Learning all the basic shapes, ranging from circles to pentagons and hexagons. There are 4 slides in which there will be the word search and the answer key to the word search.

For this assignment, I asked students to make a Geometric Shapes Collage showing squares, rectangles, triangles, and/or circles. Students get to choose three of their favorite colors to work with. Students choose which colors go on top the base color papers. Students learned folding, cutting, gluing, and placing (overlapping) skills during this 1-to-2-Day Art Unit. Students shared their artworks on display inside the Art Gallery. I hope you and your kiddos love this! Enjoy!

Let your students practice while having fun with this engaging, no-prep and self-checking mystery picture activity. Students will have 20 questions, given the radius find the circumference using Google Sheets. I used it as a sub-plan in sixth grade and the kids loved it. As they correctly answer the questions a mystery picture will be revealed.

Need a fun way to review 2D and 3D shapes with vocabulary? Do you need a no-prep activity to do with your students that will get them moving, having fun, and building your classroom community all at once? This 2D and 3D shape scavenger hunt is a great way to review shapes and their vocabulary! It is perfect to use during virtual learning or projected on your whiteboard in your classroom. This resource includes teaching slides to discuss the shape name, sides, vertices, and edges before students find an object with that same shape.

How to play:

• The teacher will project the teaching slide to review the shape name and attributes.
• The teacher will then show the students the scavenger hunt slide where students will get up and move through the classroom/their house and find an object that is the same shape.
• Students will come back and share the object they found!
