Student's need to know they are valued and appreciated. One way to let them know is it to present them with certificates, whether you present it publicly, privately, staple it to their assignment being returned to them or, if they have a student folder or journal with pockets, simply place inside for them to find! Product Information:

All editable templates are in PowerPoint form. You will download files in flattened and secured PowerPoint file format. This format will allow text changes and editing font colors, etc. Graphics, clipart and photos may be inserted for personal use.

If you do not have PowerPoint then you can use a free on-line version at ww.officelive.com - you just need to create an account.

You can change the font to whatever you prefer or already use in your class - I know I have favorites! The fonts are embedded so you can use them straight away - but it is easy to change the font to a favorite if you prefer. Included is a guide to change all the font with just a click or two if you want to use your fav. one.

The Folder and Binder Covers and Labels are designed to fit on 8.5" x 11" paper and can be reduced or enlarged at the time of printing if needed or can be printed 2 or 4 per page using your printer's settings. If A4 size is needed then you can adjust the template to fit A4 paper size at the time of printing by clicking FIT TO PAGE. Border-free printing will depend on your printer's capability and settings.

This set is for classroom and/or personal use of the person downloading only. Additional licenses can be purchased at a discounted price.

When a loved one passes away, making sense of the grief that comes as part of this experience can often be difficult and overwhelming. With Grief and Loss Portfolio Project - Coping with Death, you'll get an accessible resource that helps young people make sense of the emotions they are feeling in a supportive environment.

This portfolio project starts with facilitating open dialogue amongst those affected. This constitutes an important first step for moving forward, finding peace, and otherwise healing from a traumatic event. Since every individual is different and will cope with loss differently, this project allows individuals to explore their own journey at their own pace in whatever form or fashion works best for them such as journaling, breath work, and much more. And when talking about death becomes too difficult, this resource provides alternative strategies to develop coping skills which will serve them during future times of emotional distress.

This portfolio project is perfect for school counselors and school psychologists. It can accompany a Social Emotional Learning (SEL) curriculum or health lessons as well. Need an awesome Movement Activity? I have just the thing for you! This creative Conscious Discipline “Breathing Pose” resource was designed to be printed and displayed as examples while you teach. Use this Google Slide file to display these beautiful images one-by-one on a large screen. It is best to use one of these images per day or per week, so these resources can last a while. Focus on the specific animal shown and discuss where this animal would be and how it would breathe and pose to gain focus. Make sure you demonstrate the pose with your class. Ask a student to help demonstrate this pose, and the sillier you are, yet focused, the more the students will want to participate with you in each of these fun and motivating animal breathing poses. This is a great SEL strategy! I hope you and your kiddos love this! Enjoy.

Using cootie catchers (fortune tellers) to get students speaking to each other and to help them get to know their classmates better is a great idea at any time of the year.
