Student's need to know they are valued and appreciated. One way to let them know is it to present them with certificates, whether you present it publicly, privately, staple it to their assignment being returned to them or, if they have a student folder or journal with pockets, simply place inside for them to find! Surprise! You are valued!

I know how crazy supply drop off/meet the teacher/open house can be for a teacher. Parents and students are coming and going, they want to talk to you, or they want to know what to do with their stuff, or where to find things. A few years ago I created stations to guide my parents and students around my room to drop off their supplies. I designed this Monster Truck Themed Folder and Binder set to motivate the few learners in my class each year who had very specific interests, were reluctant to take their folders home and worked best with a clear structure to help them set goals and chart their progress. It made a real difference when my learners were excited and proud to have folders and inserts with a theme that interested them. It was the easiest and quickest way I found to engage those who needed something more personalized.

These mix-and-match templates can be used for everything from seating and tray signs, individual learning boxes, class signs, notes to home, notebook covers and labels and anything else you need or can think of. I have developed quite a few themes over the years to cater for different interests and will be adding these to my store.

Mix-and-match colors and coordinating ink-savers give you lots of options, choice and combinations for this year and beyond and can be used for younger learners, learners with special needs or older students who may need motivation and support but not cutesy themes.

Product Information:

All editable templates are in PowerPoint form. You will download files in flattened and secured PowerPoint file format. This format will allow text changes and editing font colors, etc. Graphics, clipart and photos may be inserted for personal use.

If you do not have PowerPoint then you can use a free on-line version at ww.officelive.com - you just need to create an account.

You can change the font to whatever you prefer or already use in your class - I know I have favorites! The fonts are embedded so you can use them straight away - but it is easy to change the font to a favorite if you prefer. Included is a guide to change all the font with just a click or two if you want to use your fav. one.

The Folder and Binder Covers and Labels are designed to fit on 8.5" x 11" paper and can be reduced or enlarged at the time of printing if needed or can be printed 2 or 4 per page using your printer's settings. If A4 size is needed then you can adjust the template to fit A4 paper size at the time of printing by clicking FIT TO PAGE. Border-free printing will depend on your printer's capability and settings.

Need an awesome Movement Activity? I have just the thing for you! This creative Conscious Discipline “Breathing Pose” resource was designed to be printed and displayed as examples while you teach. Use this Google Slide file to display these beautiful images one-by-one on a large screen. It is best to use one of these images per day or per week, so these resources can last a while. Focus on the specific animal shown and discuss where this animal would be and how it would breathe and pose to gain focus. Make sure you demonstrate the pose with your class. Ask a student to help demonstrate this pose, and the sillier you are, yet focused, the more the students will want to participate with you in each of these fun and motivating animal breathing poses.
