This fun activity is great for your students the week before Thanksgiving break! We all know how things get crazy! Not only will they have fun working together or individually to solve the puzzle, but they will have the opportunity to practice reading latitude and longitude coordinate grid system (absolute location). Each moment is a teaching moment, and this will allow reinforcement of their map reading skills. They will use the absolute locations that are provided on the key and identify the points on the cordinate grid, drawing one line from one point to another.
