What is trimino (triomino) puzzle and how to use it:

• similar to domino BUT trimino cards have a triangular shape
• INSTRUCTIONS:
• Simply cut up the puzzle pieces and let your pupils put them back together. The resultant shape is that of a star.
• Students need to match the similes with the correct picture.
• You can print out a few puzzles and turn it into a competition. Whoever resolves the puzzle first, wins. It can be also played in teams.
• I highly recommend printing the black & white trimino puzzles on different coloured papers. You won't get them accidentally mixed-up.

Materials in this product go nicely together and complement each other:

◘ trimino puzzles are a great introduction into new vocabulary

◘ recording sheets are perfect for keeping track of new vocabulary, students practice writing

An easy and fun no-prep game that will elicit a lot of exposure and pronunciation for the target vocabulary and grammar when teaching I can / I can't / Can you + verb! This is a one-page dots & boxes game including directions. This game could be laminated and used repeatedly with dry-erase markers or played on an iPad with annotation/whiteboard tools. How does it work?

• Play in presentation mode.
• Click on the point value category box to go to the question.
• Click on the answer box to view the answer.
• Click on the star icon to go to the scoreboard. (PPTX version only)
• Click on the home icon to return to the main slide.
• Category boxes fade after clicking to keep track of previously answered questions.  (PPTX version only)
• Use the scoreboard to keep track of the score for up to 6 teams. Just click on the numbers to update the score. (PPTX version only)
