How to play:

This activity contains the 21 flags of Spanish-speaking countries for students to guess. Students will begin by asking yes or no questions, which will lead them closer to the answer.

Scattegories is a fun and challenging board game that tests your creativity and quick thinking. I have recreated a classroom version for SPANISH LEARNERS called: ¡PÁREME LA MANO! also called in other countries, TUTTI FRUTI o PARA EL FUEGO. This is a fun game we used to play in school growing up in South America. I have tried in my own classroom and kids LOVE IT! This is such a great game to practice vocabulary and parts of the speech.

This product contains two versions of this game. One for individual play and one for a group game. There are a set of rules for both games but these are just suggested rules as you can set your own depending of the group of kids you teach. Kids will only need a dice, a white board marker and a wiper.

Make learning about Valentine’s Day interesting with this no-prep digital escape game.  The game includes access to a website where your students will hunt for the keys to unlock a set of locks.  Students will need to read the clues very carefully and watch videos, visit websites, and read texts to find the information they need to win the game.  Very easy to use - just send your students to the website and let them work!  Students can play individually or in teams.

Digital escape games are a fun way to start a unit, or to review at the end of a unit.  They can also be used to learn about a cultural or historical event.  This game will have your students reading carefully and paying attention to the smallest details in order to complete the challenge and unlock the locks.

Are you looking for a community building speaking activity for the beginning of school in which the students can get to know each other while reviewing the present tense? This is a great Back to School ice breaker activity for levels Spanish 2, 3 or 4 for the first month of school or if you want to give the students an opportunity to get out of their seats and talk to their classmates. Are you looking for a quick, fun way to get your students practicing the conjugations of stem-changing verbs in the preterite tense in Spanish? This fun, low-prep dice activity is a great way to practice verb conjugations and sentence writing! You can specify the tense, so this could be used at all levels! All you need is copies of the game sheet and one or two dice for each group. This activity can be done individually, in pairs, or in small groups and it's a great way to fill a few extra minutes when your lesson ends early or on days with irregular schedules (like standardized test days, pep rallies, early releases, etc). These games are perfect for centers, tutorials, small groups, homeschooling, homework, sub plans and more! Students will practice vocabulary words by rolling a physical or digital dice using the provided qr code, and then reading the matching nonsense word, and coloring the box using the correct matching color.

What's Included

• 10 Roll and Read Boards with colors in spanish

Directions

Materials Needed:

• One of the 10 worksheets or the editable template where you add your own words
• A regular six-sided die
• Colors
• Optional: A device with a QR code scanner (phone, tablet, etc.)

Rolling the Die:

• Students roll a six-sided die to determine which color word they read in Spanish.
• Students can also scan the QR code on the worksheet using a device with a QR code scanner to access a virtual dice roller.

Reading the Word:

• Students match the number rolled with the corresponding color word on their worksheet.
• Students read aloud the color in Spanish to practice pronunciation.

Marking Progress:

• Once students read a word, they should shade in color the box using the color that matches the Spanish word read.
• If students roll a number they have already completed, they should roll again until they land on a new word.
• Students continue rolling and reading until they have completed all the words on their worksheet.

Is reading comprehension getting boring in your Spanish class?  Turn it into a game!  This story about a futuristic invention goes from dull to exciting as students work together and move around the room!  This is a simple “print and go” with no work for the teacher!  

   The students play the role of a reporter assigned to covering a big scoop!  They have to read all 10 parts of the story to get the full picture of what to report about.  While they read the parts, they are also looking for “code words”.  Students record the code words on a special answer sheet that will eventually lead them to solving the mystery of how this invention will change life in the future!  It’s so much fun! 

    After, you can decide which of the 3 follow-up activities you want to do with your students.  Included: a True or False Activity, Fill in the Blanks Activity and Tell Me in Your Own Words Activity. Answer keys are also included.  Best of all?  If there’s something you’d like to change for your students, you are free to edit!
