This is a one-page full-color game board with spaces marked in Spanish. It can be used with trivia cards, task cards, or flashcards for a quick and painless set up. Do you teach a foreign language to your students? This packet contains two center activities that help teach colors in English, Spanish and French! It is differentiated so that students who need more help can use the colored word cards and those who are more advanced can use the black and white cards. The first center activity, the students match the color name to the color splat on the color mats. There are color mats available in English, Spanish and French with word cards available with each color. Use Velcro on the word cards and the blank spaces to allow the word cards to stay in place. The second center activity is a matching/memory game where students pair the colored splat card with the correct color word. This center is also available in English, Spanish and French. This creative and printable board game has been developed to provide a foundation to explore anger management.

“”Keep My Cool” is a growth mindset board game which is great for students who may need some additional support with dealing with their anger.

Using the analogy of an “ice-cream” students are asked to reflect on their behaviour how they can keep their cool. This game encourages reflection and psycho-education around anger management, impulse control, self-control, emotional regulation.

There are over 115 reflective question cards with 23 cards in each of the five various color-coded areas. These include:

Self-Discovery – reflecting, learning and exploring their own anger

Triggers – reflecting on what makes them loose their cool.

Cool Down– exploring cool down, coping strategies and strategies

Spanish forehead guessing vocabulary game

This forehead guessing game is very simple. It includes 55 cards with pictograms representing an object, an action or an animal. This version is a mishmash of themes. Perfect for traditional Spanish classrooms or for immersion.

How to play:

From 2 to 10 players. Make two or more teams, the team with the youngest player starts the game.

Draw a card and without looking at it, show it to other members of your team. If possible, place it on his forehead with an adhesive. The player who draws the card must ask questions in order to guess what is on the card. The other members of the team answer only by "YES", "NO" or "SOMETIMES" or another word that can guide his or her teammates. No gestures or noises are allowed. For example, if the card shows a dog,  the player will have to ask several questions to be able to know what is on his card.

Examples:

"Is it an animal"? Yes

“Does this animal live in water”? No

“Does it eat meat”? Yes

The team scores a point if the word is guessed. The team that reaches 10, 15 or 20 points has won !!
