These notebook pages include step-by-step instructions, key vocabulary words, examples, and practice opportunities. This lesson has everything you need to teach a "Thin Slicing" lesson on defining the domain and range of a function from a graph. Students will learn how to write the domain and range from a graph using both set notation and interval notation. This lesson with printable task cards uses Building Thinking Classrooms strategies for teaching math created by Peter Liljedahl. If you have been looking to implement the Building Thinking Classrooms model of instruction, but don't know where to start, this is a great resource for you.
