This Life Skills lesson is tailored for older special education students with special needs who are preparing for the workforce. It covers four main job types—Full-Time, Part-Time, Seasonal, and Per Diem—and explores the pros and cons of each, such as stability, flexibility, and benefits. Through practical examples and reflective questions, students will think about their own occupation preferences. This occupations lesson provides essential vocational training to help students make informed choices as they step into employment.

The resource includes 42 slides designed to help students understand the differences between Full-Time, Part-Time, Per Diem, and Seasonal work. It features 28 multiple-choice prompts and 20 fill-in-the-blank exercises that reinforce key concepts. Additionally, 16 example jobs are provided, asking students to categorize each job type. This engaging format ensures students can apply what they’ve learned and think critically about various employment options.

This French reading comprehension activity will teach your students about the history of SAPEurs and their role in African culture.  It is suitable for novice-high/intermediate-low students with teacher guidance and higher-level students to work independently.  If you teach AP French, this reading can be useful in giving your students practice reading nonfiction articles for the interpretive section of the test.  The reading can lead to discussion or writing activities to include the other two modes of communication.

Les SAPEurs are members of a special society, one that loves to dress elegantly and show off their style. Despite living in poverty, many of the members of the society find a way to dress like the most elegant gentlemen of the past. Learn about the origins of the society and their current situation in this reading for intermediate/advanced French learners. Reading is in passé composé and imparfait.

Looking for an exciting and intriguing way to introduce Christmas traditions around the world? This is a fun geography mini-lesson (60 minutes) that will get your students excited about learning and about the season itself. Digital Student Portfolio Project for Google Sites

This digital student portfolio project for Google Sites is the perfect way to help your students showcase their work in a professional, organized, and user-friendly way. With this product, you can quickly create portfolios that highlight student work, achievements, and more. This project can range anywhere from 6th grade to 12th grade. Depending on the age, it takes them about 2-3 days to a week from my personal experience with my students.

Learn Ratios by counting objects and writing the ratio 3 different ways: using the colon (:), using the word "to", and writing the ratio as a fraction. I envisaged this to be a September week 1 internet activity. It will give students an opportunity to think about how other people perceive them. It could also be used as a lesson in how to search Google effectively or used as a dictionary / thesaurus activity, where students have to find descriptive words in order to search for appropriate pictures on Google Images.

These have been doing the rounds on FaceBook and email recently. You may have received posters / postcards entitled "Teachers...." or "Moms..." and then under the title are a series of photos with captions like;

Each caption is accompanied by an image of what that person thinks about the other person or group of people.

The sample here is of the "Teacher..." postcard. This is NOT what I am selling. I am selling a similar template entitled, "Students..." It is laid out the same as the teacher one with the same titles (the word teacher has been replaced with student), however, the pictures are missing. Students must search Google Images for appropriate pictures that characterize themselves. The photo titles are as follows;
