It demonstrates that the recipient's kindness or gesture was meaningful enough to warrant a personalized response.

2. Coloring thank you cards allows for creativity to shine. Whether it's using various colors, adding drawings, or writing special messages, the sender can unleash their artistic side, making the card a unique keepsake for the recipient.

By Innovations in Technology

This lesson focuses on the innovations and inventions that are borne from tragedy, specifically as it relates to 9/11. This is perfect for technology class or for use in a Social Studies or History classroom that wants to incorporate technology with a lesson for Patriot Day, September 11th.

The project was created for grades 7-8 but could easily be used with upper elementary or high school students.

The Easter Story Spinner Wheel - Christian Easter Craft Activity- Sunday School

By Michellecurtis

This inspiring Christian Easter craft activity provides a meaningful way for children to connect with the resurrection story of Jesus Christ. The project involves dividing a circular template into six segments on the back, where children can thoughtfully select and depict six pivotal events from the Easter narrative using images, text, or a blend of both. This thoughtful arrangement encourages children to delve deeply into the significance of each event.

This Christian-themed Easter craft product offers several compelling benefits that make it a valuable addition to any Christian education setting, whether in a school, Sunday school, or at home:

  1. Educational and Spiritual Enrichment: The craft focuses on retelling the Easter story, a central narrative in Christianity that details the resurrection of Jesus Christ. By selecting and illustrating key events, children engage both cognitively and spiritually with the story, enhancing their understanding and retention of these pivotal biblical events.
  2. Interactive Learning: The spinner design of the craft encourages interaction. As children rotate the window to reveal each segment, they actively participate in the storytelling process. This hands-on approach caters to various learning styles, particularly kinesthetic learners who benefit from physical activities tied to learning.
  3. Creative Expression: The project allows for creative expression through the decoration of the craft elements. This not only makes the learning process enjoyable but also allows children to express their interpretation and feelings about the Easter story through art.

In Task 1 students will read an informational text about Christmas and then find their way through a maze by answering true or false comprehension questions. If they answer the questions correctly they will reveal their first word.

In Task 2 students will use the same informational text to complete a crossword puzzle. Within the puzzle there are several hidden letters which will need to be unscrambled on the completion of the puzzle to reveal the second word.

In Task 3 students will have to cut out 27 timeline task cards about important holidays or festivals celebrated in the United States and around the world. When they have finished their task they can glue them onto the answer key which will reveal their third word.

In Task 4 students will have to find the missing words in a wordsearch puzzle before finding a hidden word from the letters that are left over in the puzzle. This hidden word is their fourth and final word.

Students can then complete their student answer key with the four words they revealed before checking with the teacher to see if they have escaped successfully.
