Most are beginning sound sorts with one ending sound sort and one medial sound sort. There are also an additional 14 sound sorts….5 for medial sounds, 5 for ending sounds and 4 for digraphs. To get a pattern to STICK in a new readers brain we need to read AND spell with a word and provide context. These self-correcting picture cards are perfect to achieve that goal!

Within this product your child will be exposed to beginning and end blends with short vowels. You can have the child read the card and flip it over to see if the picture matches the word or you can use the spelling mats to have the child look at the picture, say the word, and spell the word. When they are done they can flip the card over to check their spelling.

Do your kindergarten and first-grade students write their letters from the bottom up? Help your students (left-handed kids included!) learn correct letter formation with these uppercase and lowercase letter tracing cards and booklets. These cards isolate the skill of letter formation so children develop the muscle memory needed to write the alphabet correctly.

It's impossible for teachers to watch over every letter their students are writing and it's easy for them to develop bad habits.
