Building letters activity for Capital Letters

In this hands on, multisensory activity, students won’t even realize they are learning! In this resource, they will learn letter formation by first building the letter with bricks, coloring the brick letter, tracing the letter, and then writing the letter.

Building letters with blocks is not only a fun and engaging way to learn letter formation, but students are working on foundational fine motor skills needed for writing. • Two types of worksheets:

  • Table format: Pumpkins are placed in clearly defined boxes, helping students match colors and shapes in an organized manner.
  • Randomly placed pumpkins: A more flexible layout where students can freely attach pumpkins, reinforcing the idea that there are no wrong answers.

• Both worksheets include optional gray dots to guide pumpkin placement with Velcro.
