How to use this printable:

Prepping the printable:

- Print the printable, laminate and cut apart to create the wheels. Throw in some clothespin or counters and you are ready to go!

- This printable can be used to strengthen fine motor skills, explore during morning work or used as supplemental math centers. The clip cards are skill-based, they are not thematic, so they can be used anytime during the year. The centers are best used once printed on cardstock and/or laminated. You can choose to implement these centers in an independent way or use with small-groups.

Practice sorting objects of different colors with real images in this color sorting center. This product includes two different types of sorts for 11 different colors, all with real photos.

File Folder Color Match Game - Fall Themed:

This is a fun file folder game for your students. It’s a great way for them practice matching and saying their colors!

Print, laminate, and attach the first #2 pages (without the border around each separate leaf) to a file folder. Then cut out and laminate the colorful leaves with borders around them.

Once everything is laminated attach a velcro dot on the front of each leaf that is attached to the file folder. Then attach velcro dots to the opposite side of the leaf flashcards. Students will then practice matching and saying the correct colors.

Build and write letters linking chain/connecting ring activity for Uppercase Letters

In this hands on, multisensory activity, students won’t even realize they are learning! In this resource, they will learn letter formation by first building the capital letter with connecting rings, tracing the letter, and then writing the letter.

Building letters with connecting rings is not only a fun and engaging way to learn letter formation, and printing practice, but students are working on foundational fine motor skills needed for writing. Students don’t have to use a pencil for writing, try broken crayons (broken crayons help promote tripod grasp pattern), q-tip painting, or fingerpaint. When writing letters for this activity, students use handwriting letter boxes with starting point to help with letter size, placement, and spacing.
