Holiday Opinion Writing: The Best Holiday Tradition: Graphic Organizer & Paper

This opinion writing is a perfect activity for your holiday writing. This is great around Christmas time, but can also be used for any holiday tradition. The students will write about their favorite tradition and why it is their favorite. This gives students practice with stating their opinion and giving 3 reasons why they believe that way. There are 2 graphic organizers included allowing for differentiation for students to write a shorter or longer paper. This activity is a fun way for students to share a little about their holidays and what they enjoy.

Included in this download is 2 different graphic organizer, 4 different papers to write their paragraph(s) on, and a page where they have the option to illustrate their favorite tradition.
