Irregular verb flashcards with the forms of past simple and past participle. Picture rhymes make drilling 76 irregular verbs more fun and less effort, great for teaching correct pronunciation. A perfect resource for dyslexic students. I use them in my EFL classes but I'm sure they would also work great in speech therapy sessions. This is a colour version, should you prefer flashcards that are more ink friendly, check out my store.

I teach classes with a high concentration of dyslexic students. With their limitations in mind, I created flashcards that cater to their abilities.

With my students these flashcards work like a charm. I find that their ability to recollect the correct forms of past simple and past participle has greatly improved. I recommend starting with the larger flashcards. Once your students are familiar with the picture rhymes, use the smaller flashcards that contain just the infinitive and pictures rhymes.

How do I use it?

• Add student photo to lower right hand corner. I chose to do a photo "quick edit" in PowerPoint and chose a round edge to look like a seal
• Print certificate
• Allow students to write their special someone's name on the line provided or what they call them "i.e. Daddy, Pop, Abba, etc."
• Allow students to write their name on the "presented by" line
• Students can then color in their certificates (letters, frames, and whatever they want)! I suggest using colored pencils for the smaller spaces
• Suggestion: Onces complete, add to a frame for an elevated look and to make it a forever keepsake! If this is too costly, laminate them for long term preservation!

This is a creative activity to help foster connection and create a sense of unity and “togetherness” within the family. Learning healthy self-care habits can start at an early age and the good news?
