Blow out 11 candles on the birthday cake
By Ms Garcia Store
Celebrate the age-old tradition of blowing out birthday candles, even in distant learning times, with this delightful interactive resource!
The student will experience the joy of attempting to blow out all the candles at once, but as you advance the slide, they'll notice that only the ones on the right (or left) have been extinguished. They'll need to try again, blowing towards the other side. Finally, they'll have one last try to blow out the candles in the center. On the last slide, they'll be pleasantly surprised with a heartwarming "Happy Birthday" message personalized with the student's name.
The best part is that you have ample room for personalization and creativity! You can add vibrant balloons or any other ornaments, incorporate a cheerful Bitmoji, and even include a lively birthday song on the last slide.
Your feedback and ratings are highly valued as they allow me to improve and cater to your specific preferences. Your satisfaction is my priority, and I'm here to make your distant birthday celebrations unforgettable and full of joy!
Join the celebration and create lasting memories with this fun and interactive resource. Blow out the virtual candles together, and let the birthday magic begin!

CORE FRENCH | FSL | I SPY | CHERCHE ET TROUVE | C'EST MOI L'ESPION | PLACEMAT
By French Made Fun!
A simple spin on the classic game of I SPY ("Cherche et trouve" ou "C'est moi l'espion") geared towards Core French/FSL students in which they are first given practice with the structure: "Est-ce que c'est..." and answering the question with the affirmative, "oui, c'est..." or the negative, "non, ce n'est pas..."
Students are then provided an opportunity to take turns being the spy - using objects in your classroom.
It also comes with a 11" x 8.5" placemat to laminate (or to project onto your whiteboard/Smartboard) to provide students a visual when playing the game.
Colors, shapes, textures and prepositional phrases (left, right, on, under, behind) as well as size (big, small) are provided to give your students confidence and the vocabulary needed to make this game a hit!
I also provide an explanation of how I use this in my Core French classroom.

So you've finally covered all of the instruments and their respective families! How's about an interactive game where the students identify the instruments in the order they hear them? Look no farther than Instrument Drag n' Drop! Students will listen to the musical examples (some synthesized and some real samples!) and be given 3 instrument choices (some all in the same family, some in different families, and some within the same range). After listening to the musical instruments, students have to put those instruments in the order that they heard them. If you're using an interactive whiteboard, students can drag the instrument to the answer box below after they are finished listening the example. The teacher will then advance the slide to display the correct answer! There are 10 examples included in this lesson along with 10 corresponding sound files. Although designed for an IWB, students can play on personal dry erase boards or can even split the class up boys vs girls, team 1 vs team 2, etc, and have a race to identify the correct answers in the correct order first first. Have a great time with this and if you have any questions, please feel free to comment below! Happy Instrumenting!
