Vietnam War - Digital Escape Room
By Frenchified
Make learning about the Vietnam war interesting with this no-prep digital escape game. This game includes access to a website where your students will hunt for the keys to unlock a set of locks. Students will need to read the clues very carefully and watch videos, visit websites, and read texts to find the information they need to win the game. Very easy to use - just send your students to the website and let them work! Students can play individually or in teams.
Digital escape games are a fun way to start a unit, or to review at the end of a unit. They can also be used to learn about a cultural or historical event. This game will have your students reading carefully and paying attention to the smallest details in order to complete the challenge and unlock the locks.
This item includes:
Your students will enjoy learning without even realizing that they are learning! The challenging game format will get them excited about finding the code to unlock each lock - and the format of the clues for each lock will have them paying close attention - there's no way to solve the puzzles without being 100% focused!
The included topics are:
Prep is very easy - you just need to share the website URL with your students. You may want to test the site before you use it, just to make sure nothing is blocked by your district. As some of the clues can be challenging to unlock, you may choose to help your students with the trickier ones. With the teacher guide, you will have the answer key - so you can help guide students towards the correct answer by giving them hints, or if you have limited time, you can adjust the game by reducing the number of locks they need to unlock - just give them the answer(s) to help the activity fit your time constraints.

Hue, Saturation, & Value Activity/Worksheet- Editable Canva Template
By Tech 'n Texas
This is the SEVENTH of SEVEN color theory unit activities that cover the main types of color schemes-
-primary and secondary
-monochromatic
-analogous
-complementary
-triadic
-tetradic
- Hue, Saturation, & Value (current)
All seven activities have a different theme, keeping students engaged throughout the unit. For this particular activity, it has a fireworks theme.
What will the students be doing?
The students will be creating their own colors using a color calculator tool on a website link (provided). In Canva, they will fill out a table with the numerical values for their color's hue, saturation, and value, as well as give it a name. Then, the students will answer a reflective question about that scheme. I have provided all of the questions, however you can change and edit anything you would like with these templates.
What will you receive?
You will receive a PDF that contains the link to my Canva template. This activity is used with free Canva elements only. This template includes a cover page, directions page, page reserved for student activity, and a reflection page.

(FR) ÉTUDES SOCIALES - LA BROCHURE TOURISTIQUE DES PROVINCES CANADIENNES
By French Made Fun!
Modifié fév. 2021!

Students: What I Think I Do - Week 1 Internet Activity
By Mark Holmes
I envisaged this to be a September week 1 internet activity. It will give students an opportunity to think about how other people perceive them. It could also be used as a lesson in how to search Google effectively or used as a dictionary / thesaurus activity, where students have to find descriptive words in order to search for appropriate pictures on Google Images.
These have been doing the rounds on FaceBook and email recently. You may have received posters / postcards entitled "Teachers...." or "Moms..." and then under the title are a series of photos with captions like;
What my friends think I do
What my mother thinks I do
What I think I do
What I really do
Each caption is accompanied by an image of what that person thinks about the other person or group of people.
The sample here is of the "Teacher..." postcard. This is NOT what I am selling. I am selling a similar template entitled, "Students..." It is laid out the same as the teacher one with the same titles (the word teacher has been replaced with student), however, the pictures are missing. Students must search Google Images for appropriate pictures that characterize themselves. The photo titles are as follows;
Students...
What my friends think I do
What my mother thinks I do
What society thinks I do
What my teachers think I do
What I think I do
What I really do
My students printed off the images and then cut them out and pasted them on.
Enjoy!!!!
