Teach kids about gratitude through yoga and mindfulness
Teaching kids about gratitude is a mindset that will benefit them for years to come. Research tells us that gratitude has many benefits, including greater life satisfaction and better attitudes about school.
Gratitude provides perspective for kids–they can learn to see through the eyes of others, and through that, they can learn to form healthy relationships with themselves and others.
For children, gratitude can be experienced through direct experience, through dramatization, and through adult modeling. We’ve included games, meditations, activities, crafts, and yoga poses to help get in touch with a sense of gratitude.
We hope you enjoy it!
Printable Gratitude Yoga Cards
Use this yoga and mindfulness activity packet to teach little ones about gratitude. Print and cut out our six yoga cards and use them in the classroom, yoga studio, or at home! Also included are written instructions for kids, giving cues for children to correctly practice each pose.
This packet includes:
Gratitude Yoga is a 30 page PDF download that you can view on your phone, tablet, computer or print to paper.

✨ Role-Playing: The scenarios provide students with opportunities to discuss, understand, and role play the variety of effective ways they can show leadership and maintain positive interactions with people. Students can collaborate in pairs or groups to act out a variety of scenarios included in the Task Cards and worksheets and demonstrate appropriate responses. Role-playing activities can also be used to demonstrate how to appropriately handle or address difficult situations through effective communication.
