A bundle of two resources that span five lessons about the young educational activist and the youngest winner of the Nobel Peace Prize, Malala Yousafzai. Perfect for students in fifth grade or sixth grade.

Nearly all answers are not automatically generated, but only require a small amount of work to assign points. This is because the aim is to get students writing answers and not to just have multiple choice options.

In this lesson, students learn interesting facts about women who were involved with STEM careers and their contributions as they complete a WebQuest (Internet Scavenger Hunt) to answer questions about the topic. A complete answer key is provided for the WebQuest for easy grading, along with resources for both teachers and students. The student questions are included in both a print version and a digital (editable) version to make it easy for students to complete the lesson digitally or on paper. A great digital research and sorting activity that is perfect for introducing students to Anne Frank and some of the key events of World War 2. Great for class work, distance learning or home schooling. There are 43 posters or task cards that include many of the key events from her life, from her birth, her time in the annex, to her time spent in the concentration camps and her eventual death alongside her sister.

The research and sorting activity is differentiated into two levels: with dates and without dates. Lower level students can sort the events using the dates, whilst higher level students can research the dates online before sorting the timeline.

A four-lesson biography project about the young educational activist and youngest winner of the Nobel Peace Prize, Malala Yousafzai. The NO PREP unit has been split into four separate lessons and is perfect for students in fifth grade or sixth grade. Students will learn about the famous figure whilst working on their comprehension skills and developing their creative writing.

The first lesson is interactive and involves students cutting out facts, and then sorting these facts into paragraphs. In the second lesson the students need to use these facts to write four paragraphs. Then, in the third lesson children need to choose the most important facts and include these in an introduction; after this they need to answer several questions on a prompt sheet before writing up their conclusion. In the final lesson students need to check their draft paragraphs for mistakes before writing up their work on to a neat copy on the template provided.
