This opinion writing is a perfect activity for your holiday writing. This is great around Christmas time, but can also be used for any holiday tradition. The students will write about their favorite tradition and why it is their favorite. This gives students practice with stating their opinion and giving 3 reasons why they believe that way. There are 2 graphic organizers included allowing for differentiation for students to write a shorter or longer paper. This activity is a fun way for students to share a little about their holidays and what they enjoy.

▶️ Additionally, there are two Inference Reflection Sheets, differentiated, where students have an opportunity to reflect about both their understanding of inferences as well as the lesson you gave on inferences, providing valuable feedback to the teacher.
