Students can use this blending board to "drive" small cars to each letter, stopping at the circles to state the letter sounds. Students can "drive" the cars faster or more slowly to practice blending sounds to make words.

Print and laminate alphabet arc, picture cards, and arrow. Punch a hole where indicated on the alphabet arc and attach the arrow to the arc with a brad. 

Students will draw a picture card, place it in the box under the arc, and match the picture to its beginning sound (with the exception of boX for X) by rotating the spinning arrow to point to the correct letter. Alternately, students could turn over a card and place it in front of them, rotate the arrow to the correct letter, and then write the letter with a dry erase marker in the box below the arc for additional writing practice. Pictures coordinate with the key words from the Phonics First program, but this product is in no way related to Orton-Gillingham or its affiliates.

Print, laminate, and cut the Easter egg halves. Students will match the lowercase letter to a word that begins with the same sound. Prints four to a page. I would use these as a Friday fun day during small groups and my students loved them! These games don't have any prep! Print and play! I would suggest laminating or sticking in a sheet protector to keep them nice for a longer period of time!

This is a great way to work on first sound fluency and letter sounds!

NO PREP Letter Matching Practice! Practice recognizing upper and lowercase letters with this cut-and-paste page! Perfect for small groups or centers! Print and work on letters they need as many times as they need!

First sound fluency is the ability to identify the first sound in a word. To learn to read children need to be able to break words into their sounds! This is a great way to think about sounds in words and the letters that represent those sounds! No prep, print, and cut and paste!

NO PREP! Understanding how to break words into syllables is a very important skill! When children begin to read and write multisyllabic words they need to be able to break words into syllables. This should be a completely auditory skill at this point, I put the words on the page so that you knew what the picture is! Use a manipulatives such as playdough, counting chips, a car, etc. to mark each box with the syllables in the word!

The ability to break words into chunks is important to be able to read words later on! These rhyming cards are perfect for centers or small group practice! These cards give children the experience to practice the skill on their own!

These cards are FUN and ENGAGING way to work on matching upper and lowercase letters! You can also use the pictures to talk about the sounds of the letters as well! Very simple prep, print, cut, and match!

This resource can be used as many times as you want, is engaging with a cut and paste, and has zero prep! Understanding chunks in words will help children when they are starting to learn to read! When we become more proficient readers we chunk words instead of breaking them into individual sounds! This resource is meant to be completely auditory so your child does not need to read the words! I have added the words so that you are aware of what the picture is and what the matching rhyming word would be!

Practice letter naming, letter formation, and first sound fluency that goes with each letter with this easy, quick, and no-prep sheet! It is important that the letters in our alphabet become automatic to gain reading abilities!

This is a NO prep practice sheet to work on rhyming! It is important that students have time to practice this skill on their own! Color the picture that does NOT rhyme!
