How can you use these task cards?

⭐Have the task cards available in makerspaces, centers, tubs, busy boxes, morning baskets, as a reward, or available for early finishers to complete using ANY available materials. Students can even draw their creations instead of building them!

⭐Use one card or slide a day during morning time. Have students fill out a STEAM / STEM worksheet or slide, and discuss as a class.

⭐Use them for public speaking practice. Allow students to build and then show and tell with the class or their parents. They can discuss what they made, liked, what they would improve, and how it solved the problem on the task cards. How Does It Work? (SO MUCH FUN!)

In this engaging small group activity, students are placed in groups of 3–5 and given a question worksheet with either numbers 1–6 (for one die) or 2–12 (for two dice), based on a topic of your choosing or one selected by the students. Taking turns, each student rolls the die (or dice), matches the number rolled to a question on the sheet, and answers it aloud. Group members may respond, relate, or ask follow-up questions. The activity continues until everyone has answered 2–3 questions, encouraging reflection, connection, and meaningful conversation.

**✨ **This complete packet includes a total of 220 “Get to Know Me” questions designed to help students learn more about each other—and give you valuable insight into who they are as individuals.✨

Three worksheet formats:

✔️ 20 - One Die Worksheets (1-6 Questions) – One student rolls the die.

They look at the number rolled and find the matching question on the sheet.

That student answers the question aloud. Others in the group can comment, relate, or ask a follow-up question (optional). Students keep taking turns until everyone has answered 2–3 questions, depending on time.

This activity focuses on getting to know your students during the back to school season. This digital choice board menu is designed for students to make their own selections to report to you their qualities, favorite things and other fun information to get the year started in an engaging way. • Share a forced of the Google Slides with students.

• Students edit each box and type in an activity or experience they had over the summer. For example, "Went to the beach," "Read a book," or "Had a barbecue."

• Students continue until all text boxes are filled with different activities or experiences they had over the summer.

• Last, students find classmates who share the same activities or experiences listed on their Bingo card and write their names on the line.

How to Share a Forced Copy

• Open your Google Slides presentation.
• In the address bar, locate the URL. It should look something like this: https://docs.google.com/presentation/d/your-presentation-id/edit.
• Replace the word "edit" at the end of the URL with "copy" (e.g., https://docs.google.com/presentation/d/your-presentation-id/copy).
• Share this new link with students. When they click on it, they will be prompted to make a copy of the presentation.
