This creative Underwater Perspective Walkway: Art Unit was designed to be printed and displayed as examples while you teach. Use this Google Slide file to display these beautiful images one-by-one on the big screen.

For this assignment, I asked students to make an Underwater Perspective Walkway, celebrating the joy of 1-point perspective and sea life. Students brainstorm their ideas in a sketchbook, and learn how to draw in 1-point perspective (step-by-step demonstrations). Measurements w/ rulers and yardsticks are learned. A compass is used for the curves. Students take the sketch to Final Copy paper and outline important features. Materials will be mainly colored pencils and transparent watercolor blue wash paints. This is a 3-5-day assignment.

Are your students struggling to stay engaged in practicing area and perimeter? This digital area and perimeter escape game focuses on area by tiling, area by multiplication, perimeter, and rectilinear area as well as basic area and perimeter vocabulary.

Prep is quick and easy... just share the link to the digital escape game in present mode with your class or put it up on the smartboard and get started!

This area and perimeter escape game starts with a home page of 10 locked objects. Students will answer three questions at a time to unlock each set of buttons for a total of 30 review questions.
