This packet provides activities and centers about the different kinds of animals and trees that live in the forest. It can be a simple packet for talking about the animals and plants in general or you can go further by learning about the plants in the coniferous forest verses the plants that live in the deciduous forest. Pages 3-5 – These pages are a sorting activity where students can sort the animals and plants according to whether they are in a deciduous forest or a coniferous forest. Combine this sorting set with those from other Habitat sets for more sorting options. Pages 6-13 – The pages are for drawing pictures of different kinds of forests and drawing animals that live there. Student will write the names for the animals they draw.
