L'Heure - French Time - 24 Hour Clock - J'ai...Qui a... - I have...Who has
By Love Learning Languages - French Resources
L'Heure - French Time - 24 Hour Clock - J'ai...Qui a... - I have...Who has
This 24 hour clock French game for telling time includes 21 cards. Depending on class size you can give each student more than one card or have them play in smaller groups. I recommend printing out and laminating these cards if possible so that you can use them over and over again.
Save 20% when you buy the 12 hour and 24 hour set bundle.
See the list of times used below or check out the preview to have a sneak peak at all of the cards.
How it works: Once each student has a card (or cards), the one who has the card that says Je commence le jeu begins the activity. He says, for example, Je commence le jeu. Qui a 13h30? The person who has the card with J'ai 13h30 on it says, J'ai 13h30. Qui a 17h15? And so the game goes on until the last card is called and that student's card will say, J'ai _____. Le jeu est terminé!
Another idea is to prepare two sets of cards, divide your class into two groups and let each group have a go to see which team can get through the entire deck of cards the fastest. It's a very engaging and fun activity!

(FR) ÉCRITURE - POMMES - RÉVISION/CORRECTION
By French Made Fun!
Il s'agit d'un document de 16 pages à imprimer et à plastifier pour votre classe.
Il comprend des affiches qui expliquent par des exemples l'acronyme POMMES :
En plus des affiches murales, deux listes de vérification sont également incluses. Une que j'utilise lorsque je veux que mes élèves se concentrent sur une lettre spécifique, et un pour que les élèves gardent une trace de leurs modifications. Enfin, des signets sont également inclus pour les élèves qui ont les mêmes informations que celles trouvées sur les affiches murales.

A set of vibrant and thought-provoking conversation cards featuring a wide range of vocabulary words.
Each card contains a vocabulary word and picture as a visual aid.
There are 8 weather terms on the conversation cards as well as the slides.

Lists of possible ways to use the vocabulary and activities to be used today
Key Features:
How to Use:
(See embedded video in slide as well.)
Bell Ringers - Daily Journals for French class.
Day 1: Show them the presentation and model for them.
Day 2:
Print, copy, and have them ready for students as they walk in.
Saving on paper? Copy machine never works? Download the slide as a png and have students write on them on a touchscreen device or their own papers. My students use the app Chrome Canvas on their Chromebooks. I loan styluses to students during class. They aren’t too expensive. Some students just write with their fingers.
Day 2: Discuss the responses as a class. If you need to repeat Day 1 for the talking part for a few days, that’s okay. They will get it.
Days 3-5: Continue discussing responses after the journal each day. This will help them with writing and speaking.
Days 6 and on (or when you know they are ready): When used consistently, students will be able to speak with the phrases very quickly. Have them sit in groups and discuss their journals as you walk around the room. I often keep track of points on Class Dojo and give them a goal to shoot for.
Scaffold so that students will be able to talk without the journal eventually.
Use the words and phrases that they have learned in other activities.
Add the questions and answers to write stories as a class or individually. I tell students to include the day, date, weather, etc in all of their stories.
Ask students what another student said work on other perspectives, i.e. I, you, he, she, etc.
Student A: C’est mercredi.
Student B: Elle dit, «C’est mercredi.»

Students randomly place ships on their grid at the top of the sheet by drawing filled in circles. The number of circles for each of their six battleships is indicated at the top of the page. As they try to discover the location of their opponent's ships, they use the grid on the bottom of the sheet to keep track. Instructions are provided in English on each page. Have a look at the preview to see what these games look like.
A list of 8 vocabulary words is written in the left column, and the masculine and feminine forms of 8 colors are written on the top. Students randomly match the words on the left with colors at the top while making adjective agreement.
