Christmas Color by CVC Word puzzles covering short a, e, i, o, and u word families. Each color by word puzzle features 4 to 5 CVC words for a vowel family in two difficulty levels for 10 puzzles total. I've included both a picture clue set and a word clue set. In the picture clue set, students look at the picture of the word and then find the corresponding word to color. In the word clue set, students have the CVC word to look at and find the matching word to color in the puzzle. No prep! Just print and go.
Words Included:
Short a - tag, fan, cap, pan
Short e - bed, gem, pen, wet
Short i - win, lid, pig, pit, dip
Short o - pot, hot, box, top, dog
Short u - tub, gum, bug, sun

Preprimer Sight Word Game | Christmas Seek and Find the Present

Where is the present? This Christmas sight word game is great for students who are practicing sight word recognition and beginning reading skills. This game can be used in a pocket chart or on a table top for an early education classroom.
What is Included:
The cards are available in two formats, 6 to a page and 4 to a page to accommodate different sized pocket charts.
Ways to Use:
How to Play:
Where's the Present is a game for centers or whole group instruction where a present is hidden behind a Christmas tree. A poem is chanted where the student(s) must say the sight word they think the present is behind. Once guessed, the sight word is removed. If the present is behind the Christmas tree, then the present must be hidden again to play further. If the present is not behind the Christmas tree, then the poem is chanted again with a new sight word.

Christmas Tree Addition Center Sums to 20

Have students practice adding sums up to 20 with this Christmas themed addition center. Students will draw an addition card and build the Christmas tree to match the addition card. Students can freely build the trees or use the mats provided. There is a recording page for students to show the addition problems they built. Students can also randomly build trees and figure out the addition problem they have created. Also included in this packet are 4 Christmas tree themed worksheets.

Teen Numbers Sorting Activity with Christmas Trees

Practice number recognition skills with this fun Christmas themed sorting activity. Students will sort numbered ornaments onto the tree that has the same teen number.

Decorate your tree and practice shape recognition and counting at the same time! Students will draw or glue the desired shapes onto their tree to create their very own shape Christmas tree! There are three ways to complete this activity: 1. Draw a shape: Students will pick cards and draw the correct number of that shape onto their tree. They draw cards until their tree is full of different shapes! 2. Glue a shape: Students will pick cards and glue the correct number of objects of that shape onto their tree. They continue to draw cards until they have filled their tree with shapes! Each shape has a suggested material list included. 3. Class Christmas Tree: Students each draw a card and either draw or glue the desired shapes onto a large class tree. This class tree can be a door decoration or a wall decoration. The draw and glue cards are available in color and in black and white!
Ornament Craft and Writing Templates
