✮ German - Telling time task cards ✮

This German telling time resource includes a total of 100 cards . 50 of the cards use the 12 hour clock, and there are 50 cards that use the 24 hour clock if you decide to teach it.  All of the cards feature digital clocks.

If you print them and cut them out, these cards can be used in small groups or centers for practice telling time in German. You may also like to use the file with only one card per page to project them for a whole class activity.

Resource includes:

• 50 cards - 12 hour clock (suns and moons represent AM and PM)
• 50 cards - 24 hour clock

INSTRUCTIONS:

☻Print & Prepare

• print out the task cards
• cut them up
• laminate them (optional)

☻Plan and Mark the Route

• plan your route
• hide the selected task cards along the way (TIP- Place them into numbered envelopes - that way the kids will know if they’ve missed one.)
• use chalk, ribbons or natural materials such as sticks, rocks and pinecones to mark the route
• mark the route with ARROWS
• mark the location of each hidden task card with an ENVELOPE symbol
• kids search for the task card within a 2-meter radius

☻Hide a Treasure

• at the end of the route, hide a “treasure” (sweets, medals, toys, marshmallows to be roasted over a campfire,...)
